That is powerful. Truth is sometimes, not all the time, but sometimes in some spaces especially corporate, black people feel compelled to hide themselves. Leadership that says I see you and I respect what you value is so appreciated.

Siya is such a beautiful human being. He was a diamond in the rough and just needed a Rassie to pick him out of the rough and smooth him down a bit and now we all in SA bask in the shine of that diamond called Siya. Before 1995, it was exclusive, it didn't represent all, Francois pienaar's iconic image is part of south Africa's folklore, You would not think unity without that iconic image, Siya knows fully well that there's been Oom boy Louw and Avril Malan and Jan Ellis,but those are not his heroes,so 1995 cultivated what we have today,one team one nation didn't start in the Doc craven era, Siya is very intentional about 1995, no one of colour celebrated the Springboks in 1976 during the Soweto uprisings, context is very important when such things are being touched on,1995 is very deliberate.
