Yes, for all settings and readings, Photoshop etc, you are shooting with a 21mm lens, with this adapter. Focus fast and is very sharp from what I see, (I just got one recently.)
How can the wide angle adapter make it f2.8? It should be an 21mm f1.4 since the multiplier is 0.7? It Just doesnt make sence, since a 1.4x telephoto adapter makes your aperature go from f2 to f2.8, than an 0.7x wide angle adapter should make the apersture go from f2 to f1.4
Way to big and large. For me the main problem with the A7 series. Wonderful bodies and techniques, but those lenses are in no way smaller or lighter as their dslr companions. Sony should concentrate on high end pancake lenses. The 16mm/f2.8 is usable with an A7 but you loose some of the frame. Why not make a full frame version of it! And if you want 21mm or wider there are other options, although often manual focus.
