Most of these comments are stupid. Please continue playing. The game is fun and it’s a workout. Noone said he is planning to go proffesional. I have played badminton since I was 10 and I’m going to continue as long as i can, but it isn’t my career. Let the guy enjoy a hobby without negativity. Also the hand-eye coordination here is actually great, awesome consistency.
Your comment is the stupid one. Can you not read the title? It says size does not matter, while of course it's matter in this case. If he can run around the court with that size then I'd agree but it clearly otherwise. With that said doesn't mean he can't play the sport. HE CAN DEFINITELY PLAY AND SHOULD BE ENCOURAGED
@@dsd.8435 I think you managed to miss the point of both the title and my comment buddy. The title says ”size does not matter! Anyone can play badminton” which was exactly my point. The comments I was referring to were obviously the ones trying to keep the poster down, which you somehow managed to do as well with your back-handed compliment… Also, no. It doesn’t matter in this case. It would matter in case the post read ”size doesn’t matter, I’m going professional tomorrow”. But it doesnt. If this is fun for him, while also being a good workout, i literally see no point of underhanded comments like yours and some others.
Bruh... At least he has started... Everyone started at some point... I am sure if you were not pushed into some badminton academy from the age of 5 your first experiences would not be trying to make your friend who is playing with you sweat or to even make him run you try to hit it not worrying about any placements of the shuttle... You do not straight up start smashing either.. The shuttle just goes back and forth slowly and it takes time to even achieve that (to achieve hitting the shuttle continuously without the shuttle falling on the ground) so just shut up bruh
@@kk7420Both Chandra and Wijaya seem to be words of sanskrit origins, whereby Indian languages and Indoensian languages have sanskrit influence due to the history of trade within the region.
Look at his calf, even its big but you can still see his gastrocnemius muscle. I believe with that skill he really patient and always working hard. Never turn your head down my brother, we always support you. Keep positif !
I once played a guy who was heavier than me, maybe slightly less than half the weight of this guy. He tried to retrieve my high shot and twisted his spine. My advice to everyone is that badminton can be a dangerous sport. Better stay in shape so you don't hurt yourself or have a heart attack.
@@rama9147 maybe for you since you have played much more. for newer players its amazing. you should stop being so negative my guy. nothing good comes out of it.
In my school, there was a senior girl who was very fat....but what amazes me is that she won every badminton matches every year in District school sport meet..She always won medals 😍😍
DUDE! You seem to have the technique nailed, pre-emptive movement and positioning is a great insight to have on the court, your wingspan is KILLER, and I bet there's many a pro player who would envy your natural wrist fluidity. I won't pretend to know if enough practice and fitness would take you into pro-level or just make you a local and regional menace... but what I DO know is that every swing and step you take out there will get you closer to being able to find out. Bless you, friend. Keep it up.
Firstly Its badminton... secondly he's standing in one spot. He's not that skilled. Start actually playing and moving like a real player and dude would be useless. Probably pass out trying to get across the court to return a volley. Any idiot can get good at standing in one spot.....
Treat to watch for sure. But his opponent has gotta make him run right and left. He is hitting them all straight to him. Yet a great rally between the two!
Im a badminton player also, and my coach has 20+ yrs experience and he is a really good payer he could have become a international player but he focused on teaching his son badminton(his son is really good) but sometimes people make fun of him for his size.
Did any of you recognize who's in the other side??! That's MD legend from Indonesia. all England , world championship, Thomas cup, and olympic winner . The one and only Chandra Wijaya ❤️👍😁
Yes I know, all these other people encouraging him to keep playing but fitness is key to playing badminton or any other sport. If the other guy sent the person to the back of the court or did a drop shot, he wouldn’t have returned it. No hate.
I admire these type of people. But please know they’ve probably been playing badminton their whole life. It’s hard to get this good and develop muscle memory if you started with zero and at this weight.
@@kaiyihuang4045they have been playing since they were kids. I agree, very very seldom you will see anyone starting at 20s that can have natural abilities to have badminton swings.
This comment is stupid..I was almost 90 kgs...with jogging and diet also doing workout..I can reduce 4kgs in 2 months..if I do extra jogging, extra diet and extra dumbell workouts I can make it 4kgs in 1 month. How can u say someone like him with approx 150kgs to be in shape in 3 months just playing badminton like that..🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 btw I am badminton player and joined club when I was in junior high school and senior high ...I was the school's ace,so I know how to play badminton correctly..this fat guy can hit with the good wrist but just that..he can't run.so the fat will not reduce at all..
He is hitting the bird with sweet spot consistently, his timing is great too. He might be limited with his movement, but he clearly makes up with power. Keep it going dude!
Never should be descouraged to play a sport because of there weight I encourage you to keep playing your amazing at it but I also encourage anyone that is over weight to try to loose weight it's one of the hardest experiences of all time but I'm sure anyone can do it with enough determination good luck👍👍👍
I have friend as this size, we played badminton and guess what, I lose hahaha even though he didn't move much but his skill are superb to make me chase his shuttle drop.
@@firebadmintonrallies5473 for now, yes. But 30 mins of this per day and you will be astounded how the human body can transform. I would love to see a story here where the joyous sport is shown to be the catalyst for health and wellbeing that we know it is.
I know he will certainly loss lots of weight in the upcoming days if he continue the momentum(best of luck).... Same to me n my father we have loss 10kg each in 1month
also having goo stamia is really important - if i was playing against him i would probably make him work deep then to shot to the net - single badminton is really hard on your body - double would be a good solution
Momota really down bad after that accident 😢 Its sad to see so good players go down like that. Keep up the strong training man, youll be back at the top soon!
Noone is born to play any sport, no it's not a sign that you will come out as a great player if you provide good results, it all entirely depends on training.
I played badminton for so much time before, I wasn't best but I won gold in single at my university competition. Now life is so busy that I'm dying to play badminton with someone who can return shuttle to me but I can't I lost my rackets, I lost my friends that time's gone. I'm just so bored without it. Please don't let this happen to you just play and enjoy your game try to improve it but don't lose your friends and time on being the best.
He will be able to reduce his weight more quickly if opponent player will force him to run from one side to other side of the court as compared to only standing at one position and play it.
U know nothing about weight loss, his knees aren't used to alot of movement so if he moves around the court alot his knees will get fractured or he will get a shin splint
