I believe the measurement indicator is in Ligne. Dont know if im spelling it right and im mot going to my bench to pull out that sizing tool but i think thats what the 17 3/16"' is. Note the 3 hash marks are indicative of that specific measurement solely for horology. Let me know if im on the right track 😉
Great video. I wonder if it is possible to craft a tool which could be inserted into the bezel groove and rotated to return the bezel to a consistent 12, 2, 4 diameter measurement.
There might be some sort of a tool that you could invent to do that but the problem is rounding off the bezel is not gonna help you when you’re trying to snap the bezel back onto the watch case. So the only option I really have is to take a oversize Crystal and file it down until it’s the right size and fits into the bezel.
I think waiting two minutes was to allow the glue to become kind of sticky before you put the crystal in. These were actually the instructions on the glue.
