Should i think that thieves can disconnect the device from the battery as they will see the wire very clearly n i will lose track of my motorcycle??

I got a 4g device. 2 months now - works like a charm. Only thing - I wish product quality would look more robust, as when I received it - the device box was somehow not holding together properly.
