just depends on the area. I move around a lot and there's definitely schools that act outgoing and less technology while other schools may act shy with more technology. You can't really define such a big group of people such as a generation under just one category! I don't mean to come off rude, just sharing my knowledge.
The last time my band played in the high school hallways the ceiling started to sprinkle white stuff everywhere because we were so loud and we had to quiet down but I think of it as the ceiling giving us a compliment.
Stargirl 9967 idk if you can do this (if you can you’ll have to next year bc the season is almost over) but a few people who go to the marching band at my school go to different schools and just go to the marching band at my school. you should see if you can do that !
Our drumline marches state qualifiers through the halls and marches the football players down to the field. I think it'd be fun to do that too but it'd probably end up being just the drumline. (I play marching snare)
OOOO and our band director would have jumped y’all for how you march, no bobbing. Why the hell are y’all still bobbing. WTF did I just say to y’all!!! It’s hilarious on most days
sam strom we are a really big school, we have over 1,500 kids, the reason it looks so small is because its only senior band members also like half of them didn’t do it which is sad
Man I percussion I played on the jv drumline I miss it but jrotc allowed me to do more for the school such as protecting the school band was more like boot camp for me than it was jrotc
marc garcia its tradition, it is our rally caps, we wear our hats like that when we win a game or for this event. it isnt disrespectful to the uniforms its to show our appreciation of the football team or in this case, the senior band members
I don't see how this is a prank. Our band actually marched through the school every game day for basketball and football first thing in the morning a little before the start of class. Not the whole band, mind you, but usually about half of us showed up for it. I did it almost every time, except a couple where I was voluntold to jus open the doors ahead of everyone. (usually I was running a bit late and got there last min and didn't have time to get out the instrument and warm up)
On our(seniors of SJHS in MI) last day of school, we decided to just march through the school while everyone was in class and play our fight song. Kind of a goodbye thing, mostly just for the memories:)
