As much as I love DC8s, all series from 55, one of its demise was the lack of APU. Although, some operators installed an APU in the aft secton of the fwd cargo, just forward of the wingroots, it wasn't accepted as a normal upgrade, though starting #2 and #3 engines with the aircart was common, and then start #1, #4 using the other two engines, it was not a popular option because of the unnecessary fuel burn. Nice 73. Bring memories back.

Bringing back the good old days! Sadly I think that company is out of business. The last DC-8 that visited SJU was the -72C from Samaritan's Purse.

Enjoyed looking at my favorite jet aircraft the DC-8 and I was lucky to fly on one a few years ago.

Si mano. No pude capturar la llegada pero la salida si. Se supone que hubiese salido más temprano pero hubo delay porque enviaron al mecánico con la visa expirada bendito.

Thank you. That was filmed with a Panasonic HC-V770, but to be honest with you I don't like Panasonic. I switched back months later to Sony.

@@jqb747 I believe one is Samantha’s (I think it’s spelled differently) Purse, which is a disaster relief company, and I don’t know a second but I’m sure there is still one out there, NASA retired theirs recently.

Yes, I spotted the Samaritan's Purse DC-8 a couple years ago. I think it is going to be replaced by a 757 but I'm not sure when.
