Keep in mind the primary purpose of the Rhino sheath is to carry the knife in your pocket which allows you to deploy the blade as a less then lethal tool then you can hook the sheath on anything to go to live blade.. It also allows you to carry the knife in your hand in a suspect place so you have your tool in your hand when you need it.. cause the best place for a tool to be when shit happens is all ready in your hand.. carrying the knife in your pocket also give you the ability to deploy the knife with the sheath on or with out the sheath just but moving the blade forward as you deploy it out of your pocket and it will come out live. just something to consider.. This is dangerously misguided advice from a legal standpoint. There is no case law that specifies any employment of a knife as "less than lethal." You pull a knife, sheathed or not, and you'll have to justify it as a lethal weapon. If you use a sheathed knife to doink some unarmed fool, get ready to get charged with ADW if you can't articulate how he was a lethal threat. Other than that, nice little knife.

My qualification, @@Skallywagtactical, is that I study the laws I live under. I carry weapons, it's my duty to know the laws pertaining to them. What use is self-defense against an attacker if I'm convicted of a crime, lose my job, am incarcerated and can no longer provide for my family? How much of a fool am I if I could have prevented that eventuality by simply knowing the law? A knife is a lethal weapon. A kuboton is not even a particularly effective weapon, much less lethal. Like I said, nice knife. I like the hook on the sheath so the knife is easier to deploy. I'll probably put one on the next sheath I make. But you'd better hope none of your customers try to smack someone with your sheathed knife thinking it's no different in the eye of the law as a kubotan. You owe them better advice.

I just got it. I was carrying KA-BAR TDI, but I wanted something with a slightly longer blade, tougher steel and with better edge retention. It replaced my TDIs.

Informative video. Please bear in mind that it's somewhat to hard to see what you're talking about when the item is black and the background is also black or dark color. Good luck on your next video.

Appreciate the feedback! I agree it can be hard to see on dark backgrounds but that can also be to your advantage. Most won't see this weapon coming until it's too late!

Not at all, it lays really flat and if you have it aligned with your belt most of it but the handle is covered. I usually have mine tucked directly behind the buckle.

I would just check to see if there are any knife restrictions at customs. I did a quick search and it appears only for specialty blades but make sure to do plenty of research. Someone from Skallywag Tactical may have additional info.

This knife is by far not perfekt. The sheath sucks because the knife does not stick in, so carry like a neck knife is Impossible. Knife has 3 hot spots which might hurt you a bit. This parts should be rounded urgently.

Interesting, the sheath that I have is actually a bit sticky so I had to insert and remove the blade about 100 times to get it to be really smooth, but still have good retention. I often fear if my belt loop material isn't strong enough that I might yank the sheath with it but so far it's been great. Maybe you just need a replacement sheath? I've added the monkey tape to mine so that it has a more custom fit as I agree the bare blade has some pressure points.

@@all_out_of_bubble_gum I didn't need to, but I chose to so that it would be just a bit easier to deploy. If I wore jeans every day with stronger loops I wouldn't have cared. I really like the sheath and haven't found any issues so far. It does come with the regular sheath too so it's not like you have to buy the Rhino Sheath.
