The tip is most likely one of them hollow earth crystals.

Tbh thats the crystal that controls shimo (my theory: that crystal also buffs Skar King in terms of durability, cause i think Skar King when not having the whip got busted pretty easiliy by a normal punch of Kong, and he should be a fair match to Kong, if not stronger then Kong).

it is the crystal which is glued with his whip, he uses the crystal to control shimo. in this shot when skar king throws the building the crystal just shines due to interaction occured by damaging the building

we also see it when he fights kong when he had his axe and it cut kong so it just might be part of the weapon

this crystal is appears at skar king vs kong scene too

that thing was also when he fought kong in hollow earth

I think it’s so that it shook the building to do extra damage and electric kong

It’s looks more like a crystal probably a shard from Shimo or something else but if it were electric we would see some bolts coming out.

my theory is that the whip is a Gojira spine, and much like Kong's axe, it can absorb and redistribute energy.
