@shirkeviniii yeah your totally right, i don't really see it as a downside. I am a veteran TH player, but as you said, i haven't even considered playing ride... Unfortunately. Because i am a bit of a skater in real life, Skate appeals to me, the feel, the realism and the smoothness of just rolling about is so great... I am pretty new to Skate though, but yeah i am enjoying it, i just posted a video of some of my tricks... XD

@TyMaiShu13 yeah but when you upload stuff kids are all gonna play on easy and say they did it in hardcore mode and also online play is gonna have 2 have one difficultie setting and the kids will say they did big gaps on hardcore mode when they actually did it on easy

difficulties won't ruin it. Hardcore mode just makes the game more realistic if you want to play the game just like the other skate games, then play normal. when you get bored of that, play some hardcore to see how much harder it is

I thought the guy at the end was gonna ninja kick the woman in the side of the head...that woulda been hilarious I skipped Skate 2 (just never picked it up) but I think I'm gonna get this for the hardcore mode...looks challenging, Skate seemed a bit too easy for me (but I still LOVED it)

Ok, for those who have already played the Skate games they will know they are cool, fun and different to ye olde Tony Hawk games; I will probably be buying Skate 3, but the funny thing is, all this video seems to tell me is that they are making Skate 3 more like the Tony Hawk games with the balance meters and all that... Interesting indeedly... :L

Christ, really? Skateboarding games are for some have been regressing since tony hawk 3. The graphics looks sub-par GTAIV, and you don't want to be anywhere near the lame graphics of GTAIV. Nothing about the movements look fluid or real, and the part about being suspended in the air is just utterly dumb.
