Is no one gonna talk about how the flick it system was superior? Imo I think physics in session are of course better. But the turning being on the triggers is freakin weird mate. Feels odd. Anyone? Wish session could adopt the flick it system. I can’t play it honestly. Grew up with Skate.. don’t think I wanna relearn.
nah if u give it the time it takes to learn it's great, gives you much more control over the board because both sticks are free. it's a totally different type of game tho definitely not for everyone. feel like session was made for people like me who can't skate anymore bc of injuries
i think the flick it system is more accessible and better for people who cant invest time into gaming, yes the flick it system was innovative and it's pretty fun to use. but if you spend time to learn and practice dual stick it will be the better choice, it gives you more control IF you're willing to learn it
this is rlly funny because back then skate 3 was THE skate sim game. ppl would be making these comments about skate 3 vs tony hawks games. we've come a long way
Skate 3 being 14 yo game is so much better. If it was on PC it would be huge, we could modify and add more customization, the only good thing about Session is mods. Every time I play Session is like playing beta of Skate 3 (vanilla no clothes, no ramp tricks/grabs, no story mode etc.)
Skate 3 is better for arcade in todays times and is mostly a game nowadays for people who don’t skate at all. Session is a simulator and overall is way better in todays times and is way more accurate in physics and gravity. The level of detail in the settings you can change to make your own style is awesome. We don’t all need mega ramps and button mashing.
