Skate 4: All New Flip Trick Animations and Mechanics/Features 

The catch is looking way better than before as i can remember. But I have to say, no one landing like that, the whole body is almost in the same twisted angle as when he starts. Specially the upper part. Like when u land a trick your shoulders are actually more straight, he lands it too much twisted. I think that should be possible to do that slight arrangement. I wish they read this comment. If u agree with me, drop a like. (or re-write it in proper english!)

Well after re-watching I think they tried out other holdings... Its pretty well done. Its so fun that there will like ever be room to inproofe skate.

it's because animation should already be detailled ( close to final ) in alpha stages , for any games . If a game is showing a beta preview with shitty animation you can be sure it won't be corrected, this game has really good 3D artist ! I'm glad

I mean ive noticed a lot of spots in this new alpha ive seen in other skate games. Ideally they revamped everything a lil bit but dont forget this is EA were talkin about

@@mellowaf8459 ya fs. And i got nothin wrong with that as long as theyve tweeked out sum of the glitches those spots had and " remastered"them just a bit and have new spots too

I love the new laser flip, looks infinitely better

If you input the trick fast you get a fast kick flip. You do it slow you get a slow one. Also if you don’t get ready for the pop as much it won’t be as high.

Casper flips might be possible if they do them kinda like how underflips work in skate 3 , and i always thought impossibles could replace the bs 360 shuv input n 360 shuvs could be done by holding a regular shuv instead

there's a high chance for speed glitches to return, a lot of the game is based on shared code from the old games so some old exploits are still active already

@@RealAntek Nah, I can't tre crook irl. 99.999% can't. You're confused and it absolutely is known for realism. Speed glitches ruined Skate 3 multi for everyone that didn't abuse it obsessively. That's just a fact. Literally couldn't get a clean game of anything in because of it. Sorry, I want to play a skateboarding game not a skateglitching game that is now F2P. 🤡 Sorry one more thing. The speed glitchers in Skate 3 could literally never get close to beating me in a game of call your trick grind skate. It's hilarious how bad yall are at the game tbh

@@RealAntek the skate games flick it controls were specifically made to give the players a more realistic skateboarding experience... the glitches, and game mechanic exploits were not the reason the game was made. Lol they're simply that. Glitches

I don’t think banning them makes sense. Just increase how many points are reduced per rep.

Not really, but they really should add impossibles and some other "circus" tricks, but one step after the other... They could go like Fifa, do it like every year, with more animations. What I dont hope! I think free or/and cheap updates, if possible, would be awesome, bs there is always more, I do have a wish, that u can do different ways of hardflips and other flips... Bc, altough its a nice animation, if it looks just Always kind the same it gets to a point where its annoing.

@@kjdacod i mean, it’s not really vertical, but it wraps around his foot which is cool, but they’re just really similar looking tricks honestly. they could easily add impossibles by making it a 360° toggle rotation as opposed to the 180° for 3 shuvs and 90° for pop shuvs. and different no comply variations would be cool too. but yeah, having some options to tweak different flip tricks or stomp the trick harder or steez them out would be sick instead of just one single canned animation would definitely be a big improvement. also having more accurate names for tricks like big spins or ghetto birds instead of “bs 180 bs 360 shuv it” would be cool

@@cd1sm I don't really care about names, but a hardflip for example, can be done between vertically and horizontally in so many ways... same with other tricks... it's crazy tho, kinda hard to design logically with numbers..

@@kjdacod yeah i get what you mean. have you tried skater xl? it’s more of a simulator than a game but that’s sort of the appeal. both triggers act like both feet and you can do a lot of different stuff to change the way the trick flips, including stomping it by pushing in the toggle (L3 on ps4).

they havent done much of any visual work yet so no, they said they're doing all visual work after the mechanics are right

@@PeenyWeenyCrew I want more in air and spinning, since it's a well known fact that vertical skating is how you get the most points in compared to street skating.

Convoluted probably isn’t the right word. You’re just playing for a different reason. It actually felt like I had a head start in SXL because of how sensible the controls were in comparison to actual skateboarding. This game looks great, but you don’t have nearly as much control over anything as you do in SXL.

@@naetrr it’s so dumb. They only want that feature so that they can do flips on flat ground without explaining the map. Just stick to skate 3

People like you ruin the game. Do you understand the reason why the Skate series is still alive is because of the "trick spam and trickline." You're probably one of those guys who play this game for 10 minutes a week while we legacy players play 8 hours a day grinding. At least appreciate that the game is coming back and trying to do their best to make the game good.

all of these individual animations look much better than the previous games lol. landings just need to be smoothed out
