having a apartment could be such a fun addition inviting your friends over and making a hangout spot or a part of the story you get a run down office/apartment and you can renovate it. or like a private lobby where you can start challenges.

I think the "Apartment" thing was just a Dev putting a bunch of stuff in a room. I don't see the use of an apartment beside just being a place where you can customise your character and board. Unless they add more RPG elements like sleeping and watching skate clips and stuff in game. I think it's just random props in a room. The way he dives on the bed just looks like it's no different than anywhere else.

Cool, on this channel people don't hate on parkour that much. Of course it has not much to do with skateboarding but I still think it's a great addition. The first few hundred hours you might not use it at all, but once you've seen a lot and know the game inside out, you might be thankful for additional game mechanics to be creative with. Just for the sake of finding new spots or routes that were never intended by the Devs. I think it will contribute a lot to the game, depending on how much they force parkour into the main game.

I really wish they would drop a trailer or an in depth video about for the realism crowd, I mean that’s why this series came out in the first place. I feel like they’re catering too much to the casual players. Every clip I see looks like a circus or a skateboard version of Mario Party lol.

do you think they might add different board shapes to the game? I feel like the old school fishtail boards would be sick

I hope that you can tweak tricks and have like a custom character were you can upgrade different stats like 2k games

the mechanics are nice and the actual skating gameplay looks smooth af, if this is the march playtest I hope we still have a while to go so they can really polish off the game and make it look really good and smooth as well, some of the animations seem jerky and missing some of the realism that made the previous games so good. Definitely like what I see so far but there are big improvements needed

Kind of weird that I haven't thought of Skate in about a year now and the day I decided to see if there's any new news about the development of the new game they drop a new trailer. This is wild.

I think it's interesting and for sure easier for people new to the game to go to crazy spots,I like the charm of getting to spots by doing glitches in skate 3,it adds a layer of difficulty to it and makes the clip better in my opinion

i lokki still rlly want to see a day night/ weather system inplace with cool features like if its raining u can drift corners and slide 1.5 farther with less speed snow will make it 2 times regular and other things u know

I hope they have a replay editor like skaterxl, then add a little in game social media that you could post your clips to and people could watch them in their apartments

Do you know if the old maps will be in the game, mainly Super Ultra Mega Park, Quarry etc

I honestly can't remember if you could jump while in a coffin in the previous skate games? It seems like that's what happened in this trailer. The parkour may be part of the missions. So once you accept, it gives you parkour waypoints to start at a specific location.

It looks a bit clunky but I really appreciate the falling physics being hyper accurate or already trying to be. Price doesn’t matter, when it comes out doesn’t matter. I’m buying this

Imagine if they added a feature where you can build your own terrain and parks on it

If they do introduce the whole apartment stuff to skate, would they also allow you to own or buy warehouses in order to have a private custom skate park?? Just imagine being able to have your friends enter the apartment and then be able to get teleported straight into a private zone that you all will be able to customize and ride around in

I think you would agree that feel is probably gonna be most important thing they need to nail in this game. There something about skate 3s engine, controls and physics that make it fun and addictive to play whenever you pick it up. It just feels good to play period.

Something I noticed was the nollie flip in the video took longer to flip which makes me think you’ll have the ability to control flip speed like in session. Something I’ve been hoping for since the game was announced

The only thing I ask for. Is good sound design for wrecks like skate 3. Perfect sound design. Really gives you the full scale of how bad the wipeouts are
