Old school skater from Las Vegas 1976 who skated all over America and the smoothest skaters I’ve seen in my lifetime are from St Louis period. Skating tonight outside in Thailand my home for Thai New Years beginning tonight. 63 and still flowing smooth as ever thanks to my St Louis lessons. Never gonna stop skating .
The man who taught Linda Blair to skate in roller boogie might beg to differ. Bill butler ( not sure of last name) taught most in movie. Man and most at Empire rollerdrome, Brooklyn NY were smooth as silk, wooden floor, in field to sit, DJ in glass booth. Nothing like it.
This was very educational. I did not know SkateLyfeTV originated in St. Louis, Missouri. And I love the fact that the skating rink is a positive part of the community. America needs more places like Skate King. We need movement, we need joy, we need fun. The next time I am in St. Louis, I want to skate here.
Skate King is a life savor of leisure enjoyment for those who desire a hobby that consist of clean (non-smoking/drinking) environmentally friendly form of admirable styles and/or rhythmic exercise... Which was where I and my kids frequented on a regular, for years!
The legend RA brought me here. Finally got to see the man behind Skatelyfe TV, my go - to. I see all the ATL, JB SKATE MOVES - but my personal fav is the STL skate style! There are very less STL skate style tutorials. We'd really really love to see it. SKATELYFE has been a big inspiration for me and my crew. If I hadn't stumbled on their channel, I would not have even started skating! If you see this, Chad - THANK YOU VERY MUCH! YOU HAVE INSPIRED MANY LIKE US. Ruth, you did a fantastic job on this! It really is like a family, and I know multiple family members - mom and daughter, brothers and cousins who all skate together on the adult night. Way to spotlight a great pastime in the Lou!

Yes! Please bring this to the olympics! we already have roller skating competitions but it doesn't get a lot of attention and doesn't blend different cultural styles of skate
At 70 growing up in New York, we would skate 4 to 5 nights a week. Sorry this is nothing new. 3 of my friends and i drove to California to skate Venice Beach. We skated at what we call the mecca of skating The Empire Rollerdrome, Empire Blvd. Brooklyn NY. Moved to midwest in 88, started skating there. Sadly at 70 hips and knees limit me to watching these videos.
