Welcome to the place where SkateLyfe TV started, St. Louis, MO for the 25th Annual St. Louis Skills on Wheels Roller Skating Extravaganza!
The event is hosted by Donna Hudson and her team in St. Louis, Mo at the world famous Skate King Roller Rink.
This was the first Skills on Wheels event since Covid hit us in 2020. So the entire city was pumped up for this one and the event did not disappoint!

I don't even roller skate. What I like is the really dynamic movement the videographer is capturing and the completely positive, low-pressure, multi-ethnic, physicality. People who know how to relax and have a good time without too much drama and dysfunction need to keep doing what ever the hell it is that they are doing.

Agreed 💯%! I live in Texas. We used to skate here, esp around the coast (Corpus Christi, Houston area, etc) but the 3 rinks in my town have been closed for years 😥. I miss it so much.

Beautiful! Skate King has been on the scene for over 50 years now. I can remember like it was yesterday being there one evening stumbling and trying my best not to fall down too many times bcuz I couldn't skate one bit, and still can't. It wasn't quite as fancy as it is now though. Someone grabbed me from behind and off we went speeding. I liked to have died 🤭. Hey, I'm sitting here tearing up watching them enjoying themselves, and wishing I had learned how. Oh, well, too late for sure for me. STL ....I, see ya!!! 💯👌🏽

Love the Earth, Wind&Fire “Love’s Holiday” remix!!!! I used to go to Skate King back in the day when I was a teen in the 80’s, can’t believe this EFF’n place is STILL OPEN, lol!!!! Reminds me so much of my brother who used to love to go skating even after he was grown and would go back to STL to visit, none of us live there anymore but this was part of STL culture that I loved and missed.

I so love to see this!! I hated to wear those rental skates. I worked my a$$ off to get a skate case, boots, truks, and a couple different sets of different type wheels. One set had lites. We would do a lock down over night on Fridays once a month. I when folks see me rollin different trucks and wheels they figured out there was more to the story. I was dance skating. I miss those days. Ya'll look so gosh dang good! Plz don't let this end. Folks ice skates are lite compared to a skate. Ya gotta have that ride or die by ya side. Trust is huge with couple skating!! ✌️🩷🙏🏼
