This video made me excited cuz i'm vietnamese but was born and raise in America. It makes me happy to see ppl skating all around the world including Vietnam.
Our show SKATE takes you all around the world to see new spots, shops, and check out the local scene. This week, it’s a skate tour of Vietnam. Put this destination on your skate bucket list.
South Africa. Dallas Oberholzer Simon Stipcich Moses Adams Andrew Morck Dlamini Dlamini + Many more. Sure one of these dudes would be down to make a SKATE show. Peace
Literally love this series. I've been following it since the release of the first one in New York with Zered Bassett and it just keeps getting better! :D
Thanks for sticking around Devin. Having guys like you backing us and subscribing keeps us being able to continue with an expensive but really cool series.
RIDE Channel One time, thanks for putting all that effort into making this. Everything from the video to the skating is always top dollar. Definitely a highlight of my day every time I see a new one out
This is mind-blowing. I'm from Australia originally but I grew up in Hanoi from 1997-2006 and skated all of these spots on my own. There were only a handful of skateboarders in VN. I haven't seen any on these spots for over 10 years and to see all the kids on boards skating around is amazing. Thanks for the upload, made my year!
It brings a smile to my face after watching this short skate video. I'm of a Vietnamese descendant but was born in the United States. Love From California to Vietnam. Thank You for this Video.
This is by far one of the most amazing skateboard series I've seen. Its especially awesome to see the culture outside of skateboarding, as well as how skateboarding translates to these areas of the world. Keep it up guys, really eye opening!
I was too little the last time I went to Vietnam, but I remember passing the first spot and it looked so perfect and now seeing people filming there, my eyes did not decieve me.
mashed my leg up in vietnam in a motorbike accident last month... probably wont be skating/walking for a long time but killer video, never made it to hanoi unfortunately, looks dope!
+RIDE Channel I visited here last summer, Did the Hanoi - Ho Chi Minh route with my board, and definitely turned some heads! I remember losing a bushing when my hanger came off on the streets near the lake and searching the streets to find a replacement since no local shops had just bushings! in Qui Nonh, They have a massive marble plaza full of roller bladers, motorized bikes and more, and just cruising was amazing! Best holiday so far.
Went there for a trip it’s so amazing I went to the French quarter and it was amazing to skate but the lake nearby/ turtle lake was also really fun on Sunday because they close of the streets to cars
Dude hearing you speak viet as an asian american is crazy. When I finally go their for the first time and see what my moms culture is about i'm bringing my skateboard.
Damn, wish I saw this before I went to Vietnam last summer. Didn't think there were any skaters there (or skate spots) so I didn't bring my board... Now I gotta go back and skate!!
