SKATE WITH ME! (Relearning Basics) 

Good to know you're just starting out! I dunno if watching someone skate transition is a good idea if you're just beginning, as transition is something you should attempt a little bit further into your skateboarding journey. Right now, you should just be focusing on riding and getting comfortable on your board. There are plenty tutorials out there that can help you with setting up/riding your skateboard. I should note that basic tricks will also come along way later in your journey as well, since you'll need to be extra comfortable before you start popping stuff. If you need tips, list them here! I'll try to help with my little two sense.

@@phoenixtheshark Thank you! Yeah, for right now I'm basically just riding back and forth and also trying to get better at turning. It will probably be a while before I do a bunch of tricks LOL. But I was wondering what the best way for a beginner like me to pick up a board is, usually I stop the board, get off, then I bend down to pick it up, but I was wondering if there is a faster way to do it, but I totally understand if that's just something more advanced people do.

@@MaryJane-dt4jt You can try kicking up your board. It's a very neat way to pick up your board, and by far one of the easiest ways to do it. Put your board down in front of you, positioned in front of your dominant/front foot you ride with. Prepare your left/right hand (depends on which foot you are using) to have the board fly into your grasp. Put your foot on the tail of the deck, and push your foot down. I should note that mashing your foot down on the tail does not kick it up. What you wanna do, is pretty much "tap" the tail so it strikes the ground, and move your foot out of the way. This will give it the pop to fly into your hand. Hope this helps!
