Thanks so much roseannsykes3624. I definitely like comments like this and I am really happy the video was able to help you figure out how to put bearings in skateboarding wheels. But comment when ever you want. And have fun skateboarding 🤙🛹
Thank you I was having a dumb moment trying to install bearing spacers and new wheels/bearings on an old board after not skating for 10 years. Rock on.
That's totally cool squarebodyscottsdale4773. I had to think for a minute too before I figured out the bearing spacers! But glad you're skateboarding again. I hope that is going well for you. Thanks for the comment and let me know how the spacers work?🤙
@@SkateTutorsLLC It's going good so far only ate pavement a few times, it feels good to skate again even though I'm not near as good as I remember, I honestly removed the spacers they made my board way too quiet I guess I just like the loud noise and that's always how I rode my boards before. I tried them on a set of powell dragon wheels and some formula 4 spitfire wheels they worked as advertised but I'm gonna put them on a penny board or something with cruiser wheels.🤘
Yo Jordan!! 🤛 totally forgot about the shorty's skateboarding tool. I just looked it up and I used to sell that tool and use it at my parents Skateboarding shop they use to have. Definitely a nice little tool that fits in your pocket and it's classic tool. The price is amazing and is like 10 bucks so I definitley am going to order one. But awesome comment man. I really apprecaite awesome skateboaring insight like this, remind me of being a teenager and skateboarding. Comment when ever. Thanks 🤙 🙏 🛹!!
@@juniorfuentes8666 Wow I never thought that could happen! Thanks for pointing that out. I definitely like keeping them in there because it seems like the washers help the bearings spin smoother. But I have definitely skated without them before or missing one or two. But nice skate insight about skate washers. And they definitely don’t make skate trucks like they used too. But thanks again for the comment 🙏! And comment again when ever!! 🤛🛹
Washers help the bearings spin smoother and they also help protect the bearing from breaking. I have road without them but I definitely suggest using them. Thanks for th e question LeRealLil_Bebe 🤙
Yeah I believe that is okay because once you put the wheel on the truck axe holds the bearing spacer inbetween the bearings and in the middle of the wheel. But glad this video helped and thanks for checking it out gregbey9237 🙏! Please ask any more questions if you want !! And have a good day and hope those bearing spacers are working out good for you !! 🛹🤛
Bearing spacers help the bearing last longer and not break. A lof of skaters don't use them because they are not completely necessary. They do add a little weight to the board. I have been using them lately and my bearings have been lasting longer. But thanks for the comment !!🤙 or the question !!
@@Warchief13-qr6er Yeah only when the wheel is off the axel but when you put the wheel back on the axel it shouldn’t be rattling around. If it is then you might want to tighten the nut a little bit more. 👍🏻
I would say Amazon or a hardware store. I am not really sure ! I haven’t had to order them in a while but those are my suggestions at this time. I’ll let you know if I figure out something else ! Thanks for the question 🙋!! 👍🙏🤩🛹
