I got a blood infection from getting cut by some broken glass at a nasty spot I was skating. Took over a week and a lot of meds to get over. Be safe out there.
Every once in a while Spitfire makes a Classic Full. Which is exactly what you described as your ideal wheel. It’s 2mm wider with the same side profile. Love em.
Man recently got back into skating. Haven't skated since my teens (90's). Come across your channel and it was the inspiration I needed! I'm old and used up but enjoy skating and your vids give me the drive to keep skating! Thanks for the vids!
There’s always something new you can learn. Just gotta figure out how to skate within your abilities and get creative. Glad you got stoked on my videos, man! Stick with it!
Yo pro tip, if you ever don’t have a rub brick just a normal ass brick works too. Most of the time I find one at the spot already to save lugging more shit.
Also, like another person mentioned about grinding down that loading dock yellow ledge spot where it meets the bank, I think a dab of bondo or quickcrete in that hole would at least make a lot of tricks more doable....
When I’m having an off day I just try to stick to tricks I know and work on getting consistent at them. If that’s not working it’s better to just call it a day
I was just at that home depot today too near pet club ledge , holy shit dude that made me laugh that dude was pissed and you did one more lol "we just painted that thing"
Viva La Bam season 1 episode 1: Bam tries to make Phil's day a living hell by installing a fire pole in the living room, ironing decals of hamburgers on all of Phil's clothes, replacing the toothpaste with ground meat and demolishing Phil's van. Next, Bam gets his parents out of the house by sending them to Atlantic City. As soon as Phil & April hit the road, Bam and the crew get to work converting the family home into an indoor/outdoor skate park, and invite some professional skaters over, including Tony Hawk and Bucky Lasek.
I randomly skated that first spot like 4 years ago, I was in town for work and it was close to my hotel. There’s a bank to curb somewhere over there too if I remember. It was pretty rough if I recall correctly tho
Oh wow! Yeah that bank to curb is an OG spot but it’s pretty crusty these days and the business that it’s behind is not skateboard friendly so you gotta go on Sunday or after 6.
Memories of being an inline street skater in NYC back in the 90’s; the worst part about hitting the ground was the cuts and bruises - it was hitting the Petri dishes that was the ground at any spot in the city!
Yo love your vids man, just wanted to throw it out there. I just baught a concrete grinding wheel for my angle grinder. Dude it's a game changer. You need a angle grinder, preferably cordless, but you can grind and smooth long ledges in a few minutes compared to the rub brick, also way less effort.
Yeah I’m aware of those but they’re pretty noisey. Not like the brick is that quiet but grinders draw a lot of attention. I’d definitely use one for more lowkey spots though, it’s on my list!
Thunders? I got some Slappys after watching your reviews, and I'm liking them. I do have some Thunders on an egg board with a shorter wheelbase to get that wheelbase a little longer; and they're good, too.
what of spray did you use? Can you write me a name and application how it helps? Thanks! I live in Slovakia Europe and we have too rough curbs for grinding.
I hate it when you slam and it takes away your motivation for said trick…. I’ve got a couple of those, where I know I can do it but just don’t feel like eating shit till I get it….
Most of the time I’ll tough it out but that spot is so filthy and I’ve taken that exact slam like 3x before 😭 I was just over it. I’ll have to think of something else to do on that and maybe wear long sleeves lol
@@DirtySk8RatStaney I did that with a 5050 I was thinking of doing a 5-0 revert thing. I think I’m done trying to battle that crack, at least until I fill it!
is it a classic full? i know they get wider as they get taller, but it looks wide for a 54mm classic. i never got into spits bc they seemed too skinny, i'd prob like the radials
@@dadboard i like wide wheels, like 35ish + i like my axle nuts to be a bit protected. also i tend to ride trucks a little narrower, so the extra wheel width helps balance it out
taking the blind bumps off in front of a stairset and not putting them back ..the narcissism in skateboarding is truly astounding sometimes . Which actually made me think , , i saw you once filming yourself waxing and prepping a stairset that was like an entrance to a building , might be a bad idea , but im neither from the states nor a lawyer.
For most dung beetles, not just any poop will do. Many dung beetles specialize on the dung of particular animals, or types of animals, and simply will not touch the poo of other critters. Australians learned this lesson the hard way when the outback was nearly buried in cattle dung. Two hundred years ago, settlers introduced horses, sheep, and cattle to Australia, all grazing animals that were new to the native dung beetles. The Australian dung beetles were raised on poop from Down Under, like kangaroo poo, and refused to clean up after the exotic newcomers. Around 1960, Australia imported exotic dung beetles that were adapted to eating cattle dung, and things got back to normal.
He was cool after he realized I’m old lol I think he expected some kid to turn around. I told him one more and I’m out and he was like fuck it whatever
