I’ll be 53 next month and have been Jam skating since I was maybe 15-16 yrs old, when we were break dancing on wheels. I mean they’re good for their ages, but having moves on wheels is only part of it. The moves are the easiest thing about it and a good jam skater can imitate another skater after seeing what they can do once or twice. What’s sets the ok from the whoa, is the swag that one adds to it. You can imitate moves, but you can’t imitate the swag. That comes from within. They’re both definitely good for just starting out, and will get better. I love jam and I like watching how others skate.
Maaaan! I was thinking the same. That energy cannot be faked. A great skater is able to transfer that soul to the audience. The whole setting was off. The best way I can really bring this home is to look at how blk folk do church. Nobody does church like blk folk. Lol.
Damn this is a hard one! So glad this was recorded; next time I want to attend! Vincent was a bit nicer with footwork, but Colton can really dance ON SKATES. Both impressive
Both young men were great & appreciate the diversity shown.😊 But before the video started, I thought this was going to be some black folks skating/competing against each other to some funky, fly music like in your other videos. 😂😅
I thought the same thing😁, but it was a nice surprise to see light skinned guys can skate jam too!😊 Of course we know they can, but this channel rarely shows the diversity you pointed out.💫
Not a big fan of this style of skating- somehow it’s just… Umm 🤔missing something and seems too forced. - but I’m glad you’re skating and having fun!✌️😉 The only person I’ve seen really make this type of skating look good is Tony Zane
