With how they interacted in the beginning, it would have been more interesting if Brea developed a similar dedication to the Skeksis like Seladon. skekOk could have been playing the part of a mentor to her and letting her explore his library while he’d be doing all his shady shit with the other Skeksis behind her back. Brea’s inevitable betrayal by him would have been all the more sad since she would have seen skekOk as a friend while he only thought of her as a novelty to puff up his ego.
You may disagree, but "from a certain point of view," it might be a good thing. Because the dark crystal is A PROFOUND piece of art. So no idiot of these times, especially at netflix would come along to undermine and ruin Jim Hensen's and his daughters timeless masterpieces.
Glad to see this fandom isn't dead yet! The Scroll Keeper was always my favorite of the Skeksis, and he's really underrated imo. It's sad . . . So sad!
Never have I ever would see a time that Jim Hansen's studios would create such astonishing masterpiece of prequel series of the dark crystal, capturing some of that 80s quality setup and storytelling.
This show and Terminator the Sarah Connor Chronicles were my top two favorite shows that ever got canceled WAY too soon. I’ll go to my grave upset they canceled said shows.

@@hopelessfairytale the skeksis hate each other, remember i wish I could travel to Thra, given how powerful the mind becomes there I would like to take the shape of a skeksis like Skekmal and start stalking the animals and creatures to make a Darwin like book. Personality: Mischievous, doesn't trust anyone, will pick any fight (and win), hates other skeksis and fantasizes about murdering them by draining their essence and force each other to drink their own fellows' force of life, but doesn't want to in order to keep the mystics alive, he usually visits the urru as a reminder to not end the skeksis. He sees Gelfling as something he shall not disturb. Appearance: Tallest skeksis, scary all dark brown eyes, long legs and yellow skin. The arms on his back are functional wings with feathers he uses as major garment he constantly loves to stroke when he's thinking about something because the feathers are soft and shiny black. His face resembles that of a petrel but the beak is blue and has a row of crocodile like teeth. On top of his head lies a black puff of feathers similar to the pom pom you find in pencils for children. He loves to shake it around. He's the thinnest and strongest skeksis, for him his body is made to fly. While stronger than SkekUng, he's very fragile, but heals quickly. Urru counterpart born: UrCo the Reasoner. Personality: Childishly playful, charismatic and cuddly, knows all the languages of Thra and sneaks into Gelfling clans to teach them about science and technology as well as language and communication. His back arms are functional fins of cartilage and his tail has a strong set of muscles that propel him through water as fast as a tuna. His face is shorter and sharper than the majority of the urru and his skin has a square pattern similar to bismuth, and is pinkish in color. He's the least fluffy of all the mystics since his body is made to dwell the waters. SkekRi, UrCo and Skektek plot behind everyone about science, but SkekRi is pulling the strings in order to make the Scientist accidentally separate the Skeksis from the Mystics and make copies of the urskek half of each urru so that they can return without needing to join the skeksis to become urskeks again.
