In this Modded Kenshi Playthrough we play as Ryoshi, a nobleman's son who wakes up to find his home and all that he knows and loves has been destroyed by someone known as Oni. All that he has left to remember his family is the family's meitou sword, a letter from his late father, and 50k Cats in debt! Can Ryoshi claw his way out of debt, restore his family's name, and avenge his father's death?

before watching the full video, gotta say thanks for this run. it finally made me buy the game and already put in just over 50 hours. strange tho as i didnt like the game at all to start with... just goes to show you cant judge a game by its cover.

I got the game when it was first in early access…couldn’t even play it on my pc back then! Sat in my library for years, as always loved the concept. Finally tried it again when I got a better PC years later, and fell in love!

Not all skellies are the same. pay attention to head shape and the HP of limbs. Soldier-bots as an example have faster self-recovery at least in standard.

You should call the squad that stays at the base, The Potato Spuds, as of fits the main squad and also a potato spud was originally what the tool they used to farm potatoes was called. It wasn't until later that spud was a way to say potato itself. Since they will be building, researching, farming, and making tools I feel like it fits.

It's cool that you can basically buy half a town. Can you setup farming and weapons, or is that only restricted to new settlements you create?

Technically yes - but where I am based, the ground is pretty much dead. I could do hydroponics, but would have to ship the water in. There are mods that add ways to get water in that scenario, but I don't think I have anything that can fix that this time round. I am thinking of having the current base as a research/smithing settlement, maybe alcohol production in the future, and then have a separate main base where are main characters live and farm crops/mine resources. Don't want anything too huge, unlike my last series, just a simple homestead with a few crop plots and a handful of buildings would be good enough :)

I am assuming the mark up was either that Alcohol is used as some sort of fuel Or turn it into another product that they can then use or sell on. Doesn’t make much sense otherwise as to why they would mark it up so high…
