Grimskull was what attracted me to the show. A character seeking redemption and fighting against his own self-doubt physically really caught me as a kid. I wish they were able to complete the show.
I remember watching this every Saturday morning when I was a kid. Those were the days when cartoons were best. Along with Beetlejuice and Tales from the Crypt.
Linda Lewis Never forget waking up early *SATURDAY MORNING* (A Dead tadition) to watch All this stuff! MrTee, #Visionairies, Thundarr the Barbarian, #Inhumanoids, Skeleton Warriors, Ghost Busters, even #CampCandy were some of my favs! GiJoe as well obviously, but that was on after school i think.
Anyone besides me think that this show should've been called Legion of Light, you know, to go with the good guys and every named character in the intro?
Iono. Worked for Gremlins. Doubt a lot of people would turn up for "Scared Teenagers With Dangerous Magical Pets". Plus this theme song is a total banger... SKELE-TON WARRI-ORS!
I’ve been a fan of this show for over ten years and only just noticed the he man comparisons: lightstar=he man, Taryn=Teela/the sorceress (right down to the falcon motif), Baron Dark=skeletor, and guardian is LITERALLY Man at Arms with a different color scheme.
Tony Jay, Jeff Glen Bennett, Jim Cummings, amazing art and music, a plot about heirship, trust, betrayal, spooky scary skeletons... I demand reparations for not being exposed to this and it not being a huge series. Criminal that TMNT is remade and is as terrible as it is now with gems like this in existence. Is this also the same band that did the MegaMan intro?
