@@tde4438 Darci has a lower chances of being seen in the wild than vex mytho dropping, I've seen ONE man using it ever since red war and it was a month ago on a titan, needless to say, it was like watching a mythical creature. He wasn't doing good but damn he was giving it his all with that Darci. Godspeed to that man.
"Thanks for running Well bro." Me knowing full well that if I play anything else in anything resembling high level content I will DIE immediately. "No problem man."
God, someone tried to force me to get on Starfire Protocol so I just left. I hate that exotic. Not only is playing the meta and the meta only the most boring thing in the world, the exotic looks ugly as fuck.
Idc what you use but if you're not using the meta and not doing atleast good DPS, you're just dead weight tbh. I've played with too many people in LFG with the most wild shit and making the run infinitely more difficult and tedious.
@realfake6669 usually there is a short second pause when using AI voices there isn't one for this. Meaning there is a high chance this him doing a damn good impression of the characters.
For any lay man here, what is the Darci Build and why is it so considered not optimal that even He-Man just takes back his inspiring words because 'What the fuck did this idiot just say?'
@@boxtank5288If I remember, Darci is a heavy sniper rifle. It requires you to aim down sights at your target for an amount of time before doing increased damage for the rest of the magazine. It was a mainstream pick a couple of years back, but has since been nerfed. Now, it’s a weapon which requires a longer damage phase to even be close to current mainstream options. But, with shorter damage phases (like I believe this boss has), to call its damage-per-second underwhelming would be a compliment. The time it takes to set up, the need for precision hits, and the opportunity cost of picking a heavy sniper over an easier-to-use burst damage option (like a rocket launcher) all lead to He-Man’s reaction. Plus, with such a relatively low-performing strategy being used when Skeletor and Beast-Man are already trying to complete a 3-person activity with 2 people does not stack in Beast-Man’s favor.
@@arkoslithos That WOULD do it. Now the DARCI could actually do OK in PvP as you'd have the time to do that ADS and aim at where you KNOW a guy's gonna head toward.
Y'know i was expecting him to say some outragous exotic like promethian spur, but DARCI BUILD floored me, I started the game and got darci as my 1st exotic from prime gaming and even I chucked that straight in the vault after I saw it was garbage
Look, Darci has its... uses.... Look, I ain't gonna lie. Old school D2 player here and I found like 1 or two times I used Darci. That was for the lulz.
I got it and took just 3 shots at the exposed innards of a spider tank before scrapping it on the spot. My shitty ass shepards watch I got from Shaw felt better to use. Why oh why would I waste a heavy slot for a sniper that is effectively just a better stability special sniper with similar damage to boot? DARCI is doomed to failure, hell I'm sure Cloudstrike outright out-dps's the fucking thing lol. It having Jolt on hit is nice on paper... except Two Tailed Fox got a 3rd rocket from its new catalyst in the same update... which jolts... why would somebody run a clunky pos sniper rifle over a rocket launcher that interacts with subclass verbs from all 3 light elements? Actually, why would I want to use a sniper for overloads anyways lol
Wait... the "darci" build is about the sniper rifle? I was like "wtf is the darci build?" And I have no idea what the conversation is about, idk what "div bitch" means
@@P3p5112 Div Bitch really comes down to 'This guy has the Divinity and his job is debuff the boss'. DARCI is a Sniper Rifle that has good damage...But it's DPS is garbage because of the fact that it gets stronger the MORE it's scoped in, which is bad for highly mobile bosses or bosses with timers where you absolutely need to dump as much damage as humanly possible onto them.
@@P3p5112 DARCI is an exotic heavy sniper rifle that tells you the range of a target, its % health, and is not very good for damage. It got nerfed into the ground a few years ago, and since then, outside of a few very, very, veeeerrrrryyyyy niche situations, (E.g., Ghost of the Deep final boss cheese that was invalidated when the double special ammo situation was nerfed), it's a piss-poor choice for DPS. Even in PvP, where a sniper is pretty good, since you have to fight your whole team, plus the enemy team for ammo, it sucks. Also, a Div Bitch is someone who runs a special weapon, called Divinity, to expand the Boss's critical weak spot so that allies can do more damage. For example, an enemy may have a hidden or hard to access weak spot (Stupid chicken Vex), div will expand the crit spot into a sphere around the center of the boss's body so that that crit spot is much, much easier to hit. Because you're using a special weapon and not dumping as many rockets/heavy weapon shots downrange as you can, you'll have the lowest boss damage of the whole team. That's why you're the "Bitch"; you carry the team's damage to the detriment of your own. Finally, Well refers to Well Of Radiance, which heals you and your allies while standing in it and increases the damage you output. That's it. Warlocks' Well is important for DPS and keeping you and your teammates alive. Of course, it doesn't help if you shoot a rocket into the back of an ally's head and blow yourself up... Anyways, hope this helps!
@@Moltarslunch how do you even build into darci as a solar warlock? Besides surges there's nothing in particular that benefits DARCI Even on hunter there's only Bakris
I can see Orko as being a very chill Warlock in PVE/Gambit and regular Crucible, but the very moment he steps into Comp the little guy goes full tryhard so much so to the point that even Skeletor tells him to ease up a bit.
@@sircuffington all the starfire meta-slaves will flock to sunbracers once it's nerfed, and they too might end up nerfed. I would hope not though, given sunbracers actually takes skill to use in high-end content
@@drmeowington2241 in 5 seconds I can put 5-6 nades on the ground and I will already have my melee back. There is no skill required for sun racers which is why they are meta
Just want you to know that I watch everyone one of your videos and it always makes me laugh. IMO, you're the most slept on D2 creator and it's only a matter of time before you get the recognition you deserve.
I CAN NOT believe how amazing these are! The writing, the video editing, everything. I think I've just found the best comedy creator Destiny has ever had...
Ever since I came across these bits with skeletor I feel like things are much better now… his flagrant cussing at others is so hilarious and soothing 😂 keep up the videos 👍
If he has an unorthodox build but knows what he's doing it's all good. I use lament and sunbracers and outdamage everyone in raids But when they show up with 14 resilience and double primaries, it is an instant kick if the activity is tough
This is quality. I’m so glad I found this channel. Quite humorous. I used to be the embodiment of “born to nova, forced to well” but now I’m nothing for boss dps without my well lol. I’m mad about the Starfire nerf but also happy, it means I can finally explore other options. I’m still gonna miss the dopamine rush of cycling witherhoard, autoloading rocket, grenade x2; especially against Perseys. I don’t care about the damage it’S just so satisfying.
As a warlock main this hits home kind of hard, both Titans and hunters talk a lot of mess but they'd forget that when they step into our well and they can't die that easily they don't have anything to say. Guaranteed warlocks have helped bull Titans and hunters complete difficult challenges in this game and we are underrated because Bungie thinks that the warlock is just a support class. We even gave some of the best abilities from each of our classes to them and they still complain about us, we gave devour from void, firebolts from solar... What else y'all want for gods sake.
as a fellow warlock main: Solar 3.0 reduced the utility of warlock to bottom level, midthree sloar 2.0 compensated low ability dmg with absurdly good uptime in support ability. now that is a fragment, that not only nobody use, it also doesn't work properly with rift. we also lost any smeplance of common sense in the build and flavor Solar titan get both hammers and shoulder charges(with on demand ignition), self healing, massive ability regen and for niche, a cool alternate melee. Solar hunter get infinite knife, 3 whopping supers, infinite schorc, on-demand ignition, and a free big grenade if they ever need to actually throw one we warlock got... flying... badly at that (really, out of the 50ish aspect in the game only solar warlock have 2 that sucks without the other), oh and the WORST super in the game Solar have no interaction with rift (which is funny cause all other elements do), have no synergy between ability and you need an exotic to make the subclass usable and Behold, they are nerfing starfire protocol, cause never a happy moment for the warlocks
Whenever Titans and Hunters give me shit about being a warlock main or tell me I'm just a well dispenser I just casually "forget" to put well down and then cackle like an idiot when they inevitably all die. "Oh I'm sorry, were you relying on me to give you your crutch that you instantly fall apart without?"
Bro every Skeletor video I’m dying 😂😭Great content deserves lots of views-and you’re only gonna gain more. Prolly double or ripple the amount with this😂please do more!!
Meanwhile I'm a voidlock running Nezerec's Sin and Graviton Lance so I use grenade spam and void kills to get extremely fast super recharge by clearing ads. Just throwing Novabombs like they're snowballs.
I got Darci as my first exotic. Was stoked af. Immediately got shot down as my friends said that was butt. Tried it. Was butt. Btw I'm a Young Ahamkara build and that stuff will wreck in any PvE and you can't change my mind. I got unlimited throwables and they all going as hangouts.
I mean on one hand they got that far using a Darci build so it really makes me think how hard Beast Man must have built into it. Also at the same time as a Warlock main I really don't like to go into end game anymore because I somehow almost always end up being wellock and as I don't like Starlock either (too stationary for me) and someone always expects me to put it on. That build being brought back to earth is god send. Now I can go back to my battle harmony/ager's scepter build in peace.
may have had just a different experience myself, but I Warlock main and all my friends wont go into PvP, Dungeons, or Nightfalls/Raids unless Im playing Warlock in general, they dont ask for Well unless its an unanimous opinion that we actually need it. Mostly because Im constantly coming up with mad-lad builds by just screwing around with different theories giving what the current buffs/debuffs are. My current builds are; Void: Fuck everything in that general direction. Arch: I affectionately call it "Fist Mage". Strand: An obecene amount of Threadlings very quickly with almost zero refresh time. Solar: Either Im the white mage with a flamethrower or I am become Death. Stasis: Turrets. Turrets everywhere.
