I don't even care about PvP, but I agree with him completely. Who is balancing this game at this point as things have gone from hell to super hell and Bungie has ended up completely forgetting the fact they need consumers for their company to even function. If they are killing Destiny on purpose just for Marathon, then they have clearly gone the wrong direction as a company overall.

Fucking same! I'm getting absolutely melted by autos the literal second I poke my head out. Quicksilver storm and ammit are the absolute worst of all of them, and what's the only thing Bungie did to autos? "Oh woops! We forgot a perk that makes a certain one even better. Our bad." And snipers too! Like I BARELY see snipers. I've been using one as of late and am finally getting use to them, so what do they do after seeing how scarce they are compared to everything else? "Ya know, snipers aren't being used so much right now, but hey let's nerf their auto aim cone by a whopping 10%. You're welcome guardians!" I'm just going to pick up a scout, and sit in the back of the map and shit on every auto user, and let them cry about how "op scout rifles are". If your auto rifle can out shoot my pulse at considerable range when I'm getting primarily headshots, you have no reason to bitch about my scout cross mapping you, or being one hit by a sniper.
ngl I dont even play d2 anymore and Im with skeletor on this one, Ive never seen the fighting lion used enough to deserve that vile of a nerf and the people that DID use it actually put the effort to playing with it unless something happened that made it to op recently, witherhoard if Im not mistaken is still used more because of its convenience.
this, people hated fighting lion and special GLs because it required a different skillset to play with AND against, hiding around corners was pointless if the GL-er knew how to bank their shots.
@@testme242 exactly, so why the discrimination? people finish fights chasing down their target with a shotgun since they don't have to do a perfect shot to kill them. personally Special GLs are the inverse, start the fight with it than finish off with primary.

I'm suprised they nerfed fighting lion. I hardly ever see it and props to anyone who runs it because it means they're skilled enough to pull it off. Even rarer is someone running it with rain of fire because it costs your grenade and an exotic slot too. Honestly more pissed shotguns got a buff and SMGs got a crit buff. Sure target lock was once again sent 6 feet under but what's the point if SMGs do more crit damage, again invalidating the good bump of damage given to auto rifles because 720s can't compete with the RPM of an SMG and slower frames don't warrant the range advantage because 120 HCs exist.
They have a pretty long time to make adjustments if need be. The crucible strike team hasn’t made any shitty changes to the game yet. The range changes, checkmate, the new game modes and new maps are really good additions so far. You can’t be sure that this is a make or break for the PvP sandbox until it actually releases.
@@honorguard7616 It’s actually going to take some aim to hit the exact same TTK as before. They lowered the body-shot damage by a bit (PLUS health pools being buffed) The apes that used to crutch on that really easy TTK are going to have to get gud.

I am gonna reread the TWID because my only actual concern is PvP having something akin to the COD killstreak system. Because that system just rewards already good players that get a lot of kills with... more kills... But surely it won't turn out like that because it's just special ammo grants right?
I am a zealot of the Fighting Lion, I am not upset about the nerf in the slightest I'M FUCKING LIVID It is one of those 'let's drop the hotswap exotic off the Dock and sink it with cement' It's baffling that I understand WHY this nerf happened but it is so borderline stupid that I am going to insta counter it out of spite Everyone who uses fighting lion, combo it with 'Last rite' legendary DMT so that they can still hotswap it to an insta death combo. I'm pretty sure it will work if my math is correct
No that won't work Fighting lion is taking a 20% nerf, so it deals 120 damage instead of 150 Last rite deals 80 damage currently, but scouts are getting a 14% crit buff so it'll deal 91.2 damage In total that's 211.2 damage, which isn't enough to kill any resilience due to the 30 HP health buff
This right here proves that they can seperate nerfs between pvp and pve. So they better go back and undo all the exotic nerfs on the pve side that were caused by pvp complaints.
Honestly I blame the nerf more on the playerbase because I would often see complaints about GLs in PvP and how they can hit you from behind cover as well as the fact that they were another blinting weapon, so I would often see them labeled as another "degenerate" option in this weird set of honor system rules that the community likes to reinforce. (Which is a real serious case of skill issue.) But as somebody who liked to use Bows and SMGs pre-Witch Queen even before they were considered cool, yeah I get it.
and i mean the counter to gls is extremely simple. just ... move. like really landing shots on moving and especially flying players is really unreliable and difficult, and maybe stop considering yourself perfectly safe behind a corner.
GL's were camper checks so the only people complaining about GL's were tools who'd hide around corners with a shotgun. This nerf hit the Fighting Lion especially hard because of the low fire rate, tiny blast radius and already so so damage from its previous nerf.
THAT one line got me good. That was probably the single most funniest thing I have ever heard in my life. I honestly tip my hat to you and give you a standing ovation.
