Hi Pierluigi, I've literally just been doing a Lynda course in Sketch. I got frustrated with understanding nested symbols and started searching elsewhere, then I found this video on RU-vid. I just wanted to say that this video is - in my opinion - of a higher quality. After watching it and doing a little practice, I was able to grasp nested symbols. Very clear, great instruction. Thank you.
@@PierluigiGiglio 5:51..if the segment is a text, for example an amount text, and if i want to change the colour only in one element...do i have to to transform the number into a symbol? Thank you so much!
I'm even more confused now. Why did Sketch call this "symbol" - why not call it "copied style" or "template" or "templated style?" I'm thinking symbol is a representation of something else.
Hey man, just a tip... be more objective. When you're talking about symbols, you don't need to explain every little detail like where the rectangle tool is located, "now I'm going to click and drag", "I'm going to delete the border". You know? You should assume people are here to understand symbols, not other stuff unrelated to the subject.
