I was filling out sketchbooks quickly and working with them almost daily, but illness, a move, and a variety of other factors slowed me down over the past few months. A broken foot and staying with family (and in Airbnbs) gave me more time to sit and play in a new sketchbook and take a few art classes to get me going again! Here is the result. It's a sketchbook I filled from June - August 2022 in a variety of mediums. (PS - I'm not sure why the sketchbook tour is so grainy since it was all in one take and the graphite study is clear! Sorry about that!)
There is everything from pen & ink sketches, master studies, thumbnails, acrylic paintings, and even a little bit of branding and some color charts.
I start off this video by finishing one last sketch - a graphite study of an Eakins watercolor.
