Updated to Unreal 5.3 using new "Retarget pose from Rig"
We import a SketchFab FBX model into ActorCore's AccuRig, import it into Unreal Lyra and use the animation of the UE5 mannequin.
AccuRig is currently the fastest and easiest way to import any (humanoid) model with a UE4 rig into Unreal - the new method "Retarget pose from Rig" then allows you to use the animations of the UE5 mannequin in real time.

Powerful combination from ActorCore together with AccuRig, shows their leadership in animations really!

Thank you - doing my best: Will extend this one a bit soon to add some slight animation modifications for props and clothing

I tried to follow this tutorial with Starlie from the original video and she came in super large. Is there a simple way to properly update the scale or do I need to delete my files and redo all the steps?

Have a look at docs.unrealengine.com/4.26/en-US/WorkingWithContent/Types/StaticMeshes/HowTo/Importing/ , when you import a Mesh, you can set Import transform options. Scale there!

Thanks@@bastiandev It looks like you are using the import translation in your video. I imagine uniform scale would be what I'd want to use though, yeah? At 0.395 scale, the skeleton scale isn't matching the model anymore and the hand rigs are all twisted up. I'll keep trying different ways. Persevere!

@@n8n8n8 Yes, Uniform Skale should work. Having said that, there is no way fixing a bad model: For every example I showed working, I threw away 5+ models that were messed up after import, simply because their modelling was flawed… Maybe compare to another Starlie…
