I went to Big Sugar Classic in Bentonville, AR with high hopes of having a stand-out performance and tire choice seems to be the biggest factor in results at this race. I'd guess that at least half the pro field suffers from some type of puncture at some point in the race. However, despite no punctures I still managed to blow my chances of racing with the front group with an early crash that was completely my own fault. However, I still fought my way back to a 24th place and all-in-all I'm happy with how I rode. Just hope it was enough to stamp my ticket into the Lifetime Series for 2024.
