I started using your idea on what to put on the first page or two of a new sketch book just before going to Europe for the second time. Great idea that is very useful when starting to pack for each trip. Been using that idea ever since if I am taking a new sketch book on a trip. From these sketch books I try to get new ideas on what to sketch and/or paint on a larger surface. I am now looking forward to seeing your views of New Zealand. Have fun. Stay safe and healthy.
Please bring a warmer jacket that can also protect from the wind, as NZ is in autumn season now and approaching winter 🥶, esp when you’ll be outdoors! I live in Perth and starting to break out the winter wear. NZ is further south than Perth and hence colder.

Do u just bring 1 sketchbook? I’m going in a workshop and they are requesting 3 sizes but I’m feeling like I need to bring more yet don’t want to overpack …. I’m a first timer to any art workshop and I’m going to Santa Fe with Shari and Uma etc
@@emotionalsupportpaintbrush You've got to ask your instructors on what to bring. 1 sketchbook should be enough. Make sure you bring a sketchbook with good quality watercolour paper. And maybe a watercolour paper (100% cotton) pad just in case.
Nice painting. what's camera you;re using for record this video? I'm using iphone 12 and use the app name: moment like your video tutorial setup camera. it's great. But have the problem is When you put your hand in, the video background is changed in brightness and when you put your hand out, the light intensity returns to the original.
