It's not really an interview podcast, thanks for the suggestion though. Working on audio! The mic I usually use pooped out and that entire file was unusable. Ended up using phone audio this time around
I got to hang out with Ahmed and Sinix again, and related to a lot of the things discussed. Hi from Tokyo! I would've suggested to maybe choose a more secluded parking place where there won't be the noise of a lot of other cars coming and going, but then there probably wouldn't be random people to strike a conversation with. And what a conversation that was!
Been looking for an art podcast and this honestly is exactly what I love. Chill vibes, good casual conversations, love that we can hear bits of the background and when people come up to talk to you guys. Feels like we are there with you. I also love that its not 100% art talks. You guys just go with the flow, feels authentic because it is. What an awesome vibe!
I kinda like the raw format of the podcast even though audio was noisy but it wasn't disappointing as I thought in the starting environment sound and other people interaction was really going with the sketchy van podcast vibe
I am an artist --- and listening to this --- and going through the last of almost 80,000 pics I have taken to use for some kind of creations. I have put them in folders and deleted the duplicates and reawakened some of my visions of what I wanted to create. :) It was interesting to hear the 3 of you talking as if art is a segment of your life instead of your whole life. Maybe it is because I am much older than any of you (70 soon) or maybe because I have been creating all my life and I have not named it "art" or because I am female. I use art principles for directing a person's eye in what I wear. I compose how I set a table or decorate a room. I consider how light will move in a room and how it will bring out aspects of the decor. I think about how I modulate my voice to get the effect I want. I notice and consider the world around me and pay attention to pareidolia and colour ways and light and dark. I don't HAVE to put it on a canvas or in a book or on a screen to validate my awarenesses. I am not "an artist" only --- I am a creative. You guys are missing waaaaaay too much of life by labeling yourselves and by needing validation and by having to step way from your titles. In case you try to find my art online, you probably won't. I am not that kind of artist. I am a creative. If you ever want to meet other creatives/artists on Vancouver Island, let me know and I will introduce you to some -- and show you around our wonderful settings and show you how the light paints interesting effects in our local colours. :)
that jacket looks so good on sinix also its so fun when people come talk to you guys it feels like a video game specially in the one with marshall when proko came and started bullying you lol
Lol, yeah it's a good jacket. Those people were so cool, crazy the stories random people on the street have. Really inspiring listening to their travels.
The dynamic feels great with all mutual strains of topics! Definitely if you plan on expanding the videos I think it fitting to bring more like this in the mix, and not only the artist part but it's intriguing to hear the commonality with musicality to the art mindset as well as the endeavours of your unexpected visitors since it somehow relates to the art journey, and the golden age of less tech and so on that Ahmed mentioned too. Your format is already very spot on/ahead of the times in some of these ways, and I can't really nail any new ideas for the pod but this ep was very enjoyable!
Great podcast! Love seeing/listening to the randos as well. Glad you’re flying and not driving to Peru, as you’d have to freight your van (lord knows how much that would cost) then fly anyway between Panama and Columbia, since the Darien Gap has no roads.
Thanks for the kind words! I’ve actually researched it, I think it’s about $1000 to freight it. I followed a guy on RU-vid for awhile named Kombi Life who drove from the bottom of South America to Africa.
@@KristianNeeTV Oh, that's it?? I saw a motorcyclist pay $1K, so I just assumed a van would be more, but I guess they don't care about the size of the vehicle. Lol Crazy stuff. Kombi Life sounds pretty interesting. I will check it out!
I was taking part in chroma corps and that rascal had the audacity to tell me bionicle was badly designed. He might have taught me how to draw but I never forgave him.
