It's IP68 waterproof so you should be able to swim with it. although I wouldn't advise. Quick dips are okay but getting it soaked in water all the time you have more potential for damage. I would check the rating for IP68. Also remember that salt water can do more damage than regular fresh water. So if you do go in the beach water make sure to wash it out real good.
