i think hes overanalyzing some stuff. "bird is the word" is a reference yes to an old school song, but ski mask actually knows it from family guy, it's a very known meme there where the main character whips out a repetitive bird is the word thats longer than most trap tracks tbh

I enjoyed this tape a lot more than I thought I would. Rambo, BabyWipe, Winnie, and H20 were standout tracks to me, and I thought JustLikeMyPiss was good except for the trash Madeintyo feature. The interlude and Energy were somewhat enjoyable mellow moments, but Energy came across unfinished. In fact, the first verse of the track just awkwardly cuts out seemingly mid-flow. Apart from this I thought it was a solid tape that showcased a lot of potential, albeit lacking in subject matter/ lyricism.

Great video Fantano definitely agreed with your points. It seems that the vast majority of soundcloud rappers bring some interesting beats but never really bring anything to the table lyrically. I think if there were one that had a more tight lyrical grasp thematically they could be taken seriously make a greater impact on hip hop as a genre which needs some revitalization.

His flows on a lot of his tracks are very impressive, and his voice is pretty distinguishable. Funny references and metaphors etc. I was kinda indifferent on the project tho. IMO it's a 7. I was feeling a couple tracks but for some others I was a little bored.

I thought basically the same things that you thought about the project. Ski Mask had some shining moments on many of the tracks, but he ultimately fell short in my opinion. There were certain times on maybe four or five of the tracks that I enjoyed that he didn't push himself hard enough and that he resorted to repeating certain lines more than desired. I like what he has to offer, though, and I patiently wait for his next project.
