So I got these two 8mm (one Super8, one Normal8) film projectors via friends of my parents, including a huge box of movies. (an estimate of 20-30 120m reels plus several unedited ones).
This film was on one of them. It's looks rather professional, so I guess It is a commercial shot for the town of Obertauern. The rest is all holiday movies, shot by the globetrotting previous owners, who seem to have been all over the world, several times from the 50s to the 70s. Greece, Italy, Japan, Ceylon, Senegal, Vancouver, Iran, India, just to name a few of the places written on the boxes.
Quick and dirty digitized with a Canon 60D from a wall at 1/50th of a second exposure time and 25fps, which is the setting with the least flickering I could get.
