So wait -- where are the brakes? lol j/k. Devin you are the cleanest skibiker in the pipe by far. And in the moguls -- nobody can top your form. Brawler is lookin sweet, jumps and drops look great. Keep it up!
I've been skibiking for 4 years now and I don't look anything like that. You guys are good. We usually do backcountry up at Berthoud or Loveland Pass. There's ALWAYS wipeouts and laughter every time we take the bikes out.
Our new Brawler is designed to be quick handling and that is especially helpful in the bumps. I think that what you might see as reaction though is mostly technique. You have to learn how to edge your skis better to have better reaction. All your edge control in in your hands. To make the bike turn you have to tip it on edge with your hands and stand on it. Equally important to or more important to bike control is to know how to get off the edges so you can skid the bike to slow or stop it.
@manfromregina @manfromregina I know these are real old clips. Don't know why I'd check 'skibobs' though. Devin isn't building skibobs other than his new Dragster model. Brandon Schimt has a pretty new ski bike video on Vimeo. Devin shot some new footage over at Buttermilk and Snowmass during the X Games last weekend. He's trying to get a newer video together. He's pretty busy though building new ski bikes.
Hello, there is not much out there right now in the way of kits to make a bike into a skibike. We are focusing on our bikes that are made to carry on the chair safely and perform as well as possible.
