I loved Demartini and Lynch the most back then and still a big fan. But I always thought this was a masterfully great guitar solo. He indeed is a great player. Its one thing to play solos like this but it is another to have the talent to write/create it.

@George Lynch Dixon In my opinion it takes a lot of skill and talent to execute / play this stuff like DeMartini or Lynch. It is an additional skill required to be the creator of those phrases and licks that make up a great guitar solo.

I was always a DeMartini and Lynch fan and still very much am. I thought Skid Row was a pretty good band but this particular guitar solo is one of the greatest I've ever heard and this is a great cover of the solo and of course the vocals and everything else was exceptionally good too.

Nailed it. Nice job, guys! Snake Sabo is never underrated, but often overlooked as a serious contender in 80s metal (remember, he recorded the guitar/solo parts of Bon Jovi's first release, Runaway. Edit: Dave’s involvement with Bon Jovi has been a rumor for decades. Even I believed it until I saw Tim Pierce on YT. I don’t recall Snake ever correcting the record, but he did NOT record the Runaway solo. My bad.

You boys Nailed It!!!!! Im pretty critical of 80s covers caused I lived it..and was in many bands during that era of "Hair Metal"...and my hats off to you. Great vocals! Great tone on the guitars. It would have been to cool to see the Ovation custom legend 12 string used..especially for the intro and outro to thicken up the acoustics. I give you guys 5 stars.

Amazing tones... and yes, i saw a recent video of Scotti Hill, showing this solo; he said he used an american Charvel with a Seymour Duncan JB on the bridge. I'm not sure about amps, but i do think that he said that he used a Marshall JCM800.

EMG 81's always deliver totally captured Skid Rows sound . Noble vocal attempt its hard to get the rough and smoothness of Baz's voice . Overall very very good cover . Been a Guitarist for 30+ yrs and the 80's were my time and it was Great , I cant convey it in words just had to live it . Thank You Guys !!!
