The last album Gangs All Here was the best they’ve sounded in all the years without Bach. Skid Row with Hale would be a fun lineup to hear a new album though.
Their last album The Gang's all Here was great and Erik was/is the best singer since Sebastian, he nailed all those high notes with ease. This is great, but I miss Erik. He was taking them places again.
@@dr.darkroomawesome bro, we found the music douche. The guy that wears his music choices as an identity, because he thinks listening to obscure shit makes him appear smart and edgy.
Holy shit she just absolutely killed it! I'm impressed, she held the crazy notes Bach did and just ripped through it while having contagious energy!! 🤘🏻
My brother had hydrocephalus. I won't bore u all with details so I will enlighten u with the fact that he loved Sebastian. He had every CD. I have a huge stack of them.... that being said he would have loved this version of SR.
@vonclohk507 I know what that is !! I'm so sorry for your loss!! I lost my husband after 41years and 360 days in Craig Hospital for a TBI and a broken neck last year. My brother committed suicide - 3yrs. ago....we all loved Skid Row and Halestorm. I know how you feel....I want mine to hear it also! I'm going to Reno to see them on the 31st. My friend just bought me a ticket! Sending out a hug ♡
Lzzy knocked this out. I never really listened to her before. This? Wow! She has it all. The talent, the vocal ability, the show(wo)manship....I think I gotta start listening to Halestorm.
You can see her love and passion for the material. Pretty cool. I'm Gen X and first watched Skid Row open for Bon Jovi and then later for Guns N Roses on the Use Your Illusion Tour. Sebastian will always be Skid Row to my youth, but this is right up there. Congrats to Lzzy Hale!
@@markusaurelius777 No doubt man. The lyrics were written for Sebastian's style of singing. I think it's important to remember that Sebastian Back fronting Skids made the first metal album to debut #1 ON US CHARTS in HISTORY. Grunge was already getting popular and still landed the first metal #1 US album. It's awesome that John Bon Jovi's parents found Sebastian Bach at a wedding they attended. The record label didn't want to sign Skids without Sebastian. Since he left the band they haven't had one hit. They are literally touring and living off the work that Sebastian did. However, all these other singers keep singin the songs that he made famous. Eric is a great singer and Lizzy also. I think they should carry on with Lizzie and start a new band with a new name, new songs, and create their own legacy... Sebastian put his heart and soul in these songs and you can hear It! That's why he's one of the best heavy metal singer of all time...
110% agree. That's what I posted on another one of these videos. Makes you realize the range and power SB had. Can he still hit those notes though? Last time I saw him was about 7-8 years ago now.
You seriously could not ask for a more appropriate singer to front a band like Skid Row than Lzzy Hale. Her energy and talent far exceeds that of somebody like, say..... Sebastian Bach maybe. Lzzy Hale has become renowned for putting massive amounts of energy into each of her performances. Her talent is an unsurpassable credit to her.
this just reminds me of the curb your enthusiam where larry calls the number to buy a 'girls gone wild' vhs - "yes, i heard something about going wild. about the wildness. i'd like to purchase the video tape."
Oh man she just ROCKS!!!! Like another commenter stated, I haven't given a thought about "newer" Skid Row at all. I couldn't name any of their other singers. Those first two albums in particular are amazing. Lzzy though, she brings her "A" game -she now owns these songs! I'm glad I got a reminder of how good a vocalist she is! SR, keep rocking with her, love to see a show in Vegas with her on vox!
Love her so much. I had a voice student around 10yrs ago who covered ‘Familiar Taste of Poison’ in her lessons and ended up recording it in my studio. Anyway, came out great, and I’ve been a Halestorm/Lzzy Hale fan ever since. She’s carrying the torch for rock vocals more than some of these modern ‘rock’ dudes. They’re just poseurs from what I can tell.
I have consistently refused to listen to skid row without Sebastian Bach, but I love Lzzy Hale so I thought I'd give this a listen common and I have to admit, I'm impressed.
SKID ROW evolution continues, Erik was exceptional, and lots of respect for everything he has done, Izzy is growing on me, come back to Australia please .Thankyou for the videos
I think Lzzy will give Skidrow a boost to younger audience.that know Halestorm...but she is temporary til they find some new person to attempt to sound like Skidrow Baz era...they should drop the hatchet and do a reunion with Sebastian after they finish this up
Wow.. She has one hell of a powerful voice, and great stage presence! To echo what some of the others have said! She is a keeper! Bas was a bad ass and had a great presence. Lizzy will be the next! Hopefully she can bring back Skid Row, and they can write some new material!!
She is bad ass! Very talented they certainly chose wisely on a singer I have been a skid row fan since I was a teen back in the 80s I'm 50 now and I liston to a little bit of everything but the 80s rock can't beat it
Lzzy Hale, yes yes yes. She sounds great ! She looks great and I would absolutely 150% pay to see Skid Row with her singing. Great performances !!!!!! As to her being 40 ??? Is that right because she could be in her 20s. Hot and on fire.
There's definitely some smiles and new energy from the band. If Bas doesn't ever come back, I'd be fine with Lizzy as the singer! Not that my opinion matters or anything.😌
She is absolutely incredible… I’ve heard and seen Sabatian perform in the last few years and I know people can change with age but he doesnt sound like he did back when Skid Row back in the day but finding these video yesterday with This young lady performing with Skid Row was amazing..
