This is my favourite opening sequence of hill vlogs on RU-vid Glen - outstanding. You might not read this but you make an old man of the hills very happy, thank you
Glenn, My wife and I enjoy watching Finn's adventures in the Lakes and glad that she takes you along for company. Your videos are very informative, the filming is beautiful and the drone footage is stunning. Keep up the good work and stay safe !
I walked this exact route only yesterday. It was my first ever mountain walk and still blown away by the entire experience! I can’t wait to do it again someday
The drone footage is outstanding! Just breathtaking! Great walk. Good to see the boy out with you and Finn. Enjoyed this one. Spectacular views in the snow. 🍀
Fabulous video Glenn! Finn looks stunning in that suit. The visibility was poor on Skiddaw, which is a shame. It's not a surprise to see a lot of people on the summit. I understand why a snow shovel was left on the mountain, but a pitchfork? Beautiful Winter scenery. Thanks for sharing, take care, Jordan.
Yass the return of Finn. Can she be in every video please 🥺 Spectacular drone footage as ever. Needed a mountain pick me up as I'm looking at them longingly every day, so close but not close enough 🙈
Awesome Guys 👏🏻 👏🏻 Won a stay in a little holiday home in Grange-Over-Sands for 5 days through work so myself and a couple of Hiking mates are going to take advantage of it and go and Hike / Climb - Skiddaw, Old Man of Coniston and Helvellyn whilst we're there Great Video it has helped Thank you
Unlike so many RU-vid videos your selfie shots are well planned and fit with the objective of illustrating the route. I also love the drone footage. Early views of cloud over Skiddaw are superb. Thank you.
One of my favourite videos of yours, Glen. Breathtaking scenery as usual, more so because of the snow and drifting cloud. I spent two weeks every year of my teens and twenties visiting Keswick and we always had a set plan for the first 4 days. First day after we arrived, we'd grab lunch and head up Latrigg to get our climbing legs in. Next day (and last day) always Skiddaw. 3rd day something low lying and 4th day Helvellyn and striding edge. Same thing each time and we loved it the tradition of those 4 days stamped the return to a place we all loved more than anywhere else. All the years I went there I never saw anything but beautiful views and kind people. Thanks for helping to bring back such wonderful memories.
Haven't been up Skiddaw for years - first time we went my youngest son was only 7! Poor kid. He didn't complain though (He's 22 now and don't think he's been damaged by it!). Lovely shots of the snow covered mountains and the low-lying cloud. Thank-you!
Never knew a route up Skiddaw could be so interesting. I’ve only climbed it once and it was just a long slog up a path. Cracking vlog though. Many thanks for posting.
Skiddaw has been on my to do list for ages! As soon a we are allowed i will make it so! Thanks for another fantastic vlog! Stay safe and keep up the good work
Thanks for another great video. I have climbed Skiddaw from the main tourist path, and the second time did it from carlside In which was a hard slog, but worth it. Looking forward to the next video 😀
I hope you have an idea how much potential do you have! Great videos, great footage, stunning photos. Don't stop of what you are doing. I don't need to wish you 100k subs, because I know that you will reach much more. 100%, just don't stop!!!
I was up Grisedale Pike this Sunday for the first time and looked over the Skiddaw realising the breadth of it. I wondered about where you go up as there’s quite a bit of flankaaaage to choose from.
Great video mate, I'm going to have to do that walk at some point, looks a great day out. Really like the way the videos are put together, almost gives the sense of being there!
Love your Vlogs! Most are walks I haven't done, but this one I did on a very hot day back in 2018, very different conditions in your footage. Superb drone footage and great to see Finn - loved her jacket! Looking forward to your next outing and I'm hoping to make it to the Lake District in May, subject to restrictions!
Great love the drone footage plus fin to keep them coming .took your advice on the salawa boots as we are in lockdown can't go on the fells but been wearing them on our local walk have to say well impressed so far
It's great to see the return of your vlogs. However, gutted that I can't get up there at the moment. Living in the Yorksire Dales, I can't really class the lakes as local. I hope there's some spikes days left when lockdown is lifted, my Westie also goes nuts in the snow!
How are you finding your new Salewa Rapace boots? It doesn’t look like you have them on in this video? Awesome coverage of the the routes, thanks for sharing 👍
Hopefully a local one this weekend, but that might not be out until next week. One day I'll do this for a living and get vlog out every week, maybe more🤞
Looked fantastic. Great light in the clag at the top. I have a question, is Josh allowed to fly the Drone?? Haha. Great work as usual. Must try that one next time.
Amazing video mate and pics! Great to see the lad again. May i also ask what the pack on yr chest is, is it part of the rucksack? Keep the vids coming and love the route explanation too. Thanks.

@@BlackCrag Just ordered one, very good customer service and very reasonable price to be fair, thanks again. He's a rather large, stocky Chihuahua built like a Pug lol
I've said it before, and I'll say it again Glenn, your minimal use of drone footage is actually spot on but the drone flying backwards is a definite no, no. I'm pretty sure I've said that before too 🤔😂 On another note, hopefully you got a bit more traffic to your website (possibly a sale or two) after the last video as I linked it on one of the social media platforms I use & I know 580 people (according to the analytics) saw it...
