I’m about to start doing this with a log arch/ATV. Scrap piece of metal on the ground end is a great idea, thanks! Looking forward to seeing the cut you made for the tall/skinny trees. I have a ton of Douglas fir here.

That’s a great idea with the tin on the butt of the log. Just got some spruce logs delivered and I’m going to try that out. Nice vid

Great idea, I’ve been using a gin pole attachment for about 6 months. It worked great but folded yesterday on a large Pine log.

Great tips! I really like your 3 Point Hitch Skidding Frame too. Simple and well built. Any chance you will make a few of these to sell? I would be interested in one.

If it involves welding and metal, I'd probably lose money if I tried to make them!! But they are not too complicated to make as a DIY project.

Really great advice! I just bought some of those screw on forks as well, wonder how they work for you so far.

I've had them for about 10 years. They are convenient to throw on when needed, they do a pretty good job, and they are versatile, but they can be unwieldy sometimes. Also, you lose some lift capacity since they are so far forward (compared to proper forks on a frame).
