I love winter park ❤️. Some of the super long black runs are really fun, and there’s so many off trial paths to take on the main mountain. Can’t wait to go back this year!
Anytime I can help share a memory and have someone enjoy the videos I make it just makes my day. Hope you enjoy more videos and have a great rest of your winter!
I miss this mountain so much, you did a great job capturing the views, the runs, and the trees. And your video quality is fantastic! Thank you for the feelings of nostalgia.
Matt, having you write something like this just makes all this worth it. I'm so happy you enjoyed the video and I'm pumped to have you as a subscriber! Wishing you the best going forward and I know someday you'll be back tearing this mountain up! Cheers!
You don't know how happy I am to find your channel. Colorado *ski* scene isn't getting its justice on youtube yet. Great quality content and amazing edits! I will make sure to share your channel with all my friends! keep it going
This has got to be one of the nicest and kindest things I've read in a long time. Thank you for following along and I cant tell you how much it means to have you loving the ski videos! Best Wishes!
Just a little way that keeps us together! Cant tell you how much it means that you are watching. Sharing these special days outdoors with you and everyone is something I'm really starting to enjoy. Also a side note, make sure you turn the resolution as high as you can on youtube so that the video looks it's best. And ps...love ya!
Going here this February! I'm excited cause it's my first time out west, and I'm also Floridian so I don't get to do it very often. Looks awesome, only thing I am scared of is the cold!
February is a perfect time to come. Usually people come on December and that's early. You'll have some great runs and dont worry about the cold. Layer up and just keep riding. Best wishes!
No worries! There are a bunch of lifts that can fit 3 comfortably. Most of the lifts are at least 4 seaters and up to 6. I'm putting out another video tomorrow morning of winter park and it'll help give you a better picture. Hope this helps and you have a great girls trip!
The fact that you subscribed AND sent me this amazing message, HECK YES! Thank you so much for coming along for the ride! My 300th! Thank you so so much! Best Wishes!
It's a gopro hero 8 black. I mounted it with the mouth mount but now I use a chesty and pole mount for some different angles. Hope this helps and also MERRY CHRISTMAS!
I don't have skins but I have some snowshoes that I use to do quandary and some other peaks to backcountry ski. You ever go up or want a buddy pass let me know. We can do some shredding.
@@CoryGrasser ok that works, I will definitely reach out to you, I have done Quandary, Sherman and Pikes Peak on snowboard would love to add some more to list, hopefully we get more snow
Hey, Jess! It's a GoPro Hero 8 Black. I use the clear action case for it while skiing and i'm surprised at how clear it comes out. Even with a little snow on the lens it shows through just fine. Thank you again for watching and I hope this helps you out!
Honestly, you'd be better offer waiting until mid-January. December is still fun, but the Mary Jane side probably won't be open until early January. Can't wait though!
Hey! You will have to buy a lift ticket for the day and that gets you to use the lifts. You do have to reserve online ahead of time to schedule a ski date.
Is flying to Denver and taking the Amtrak from Union Center to Fraser Park/Winter Park the best option without renting a car? Do you know how far that stop is from the actual resort?
The Amtrak is a really good way to get to Winter Park from the Airport. Probably the best without renting a car. The local bus transportation in Winter Park is very ski and traveler friendly. If you are just going to stay in Winter Park then that is probably your best bet. Hope this helped!
Heck Yes, Nate! Amazing place! Personally, if its Winter Park I love going down derailer or rail bender on the Mary Jane side. So much different terrain in one run. What about yourself?
Hey, thank you! I have all of my own gear. But, if you are visiting I'd recommend renting everything from somewhere near denver. The closer you are to the resort the more they charge. Hope this helped and thanks again for watching!
Love that you want to take the family out! Amazing! If you were coming to colorado I would suggest something like Winter Park, Copper, or Breckenridge. All have a variety of terrain and offer a lot for families. Breck may have the town vibe that you want and also alot of accommodations. Either way, these are 3 of the best mountains around and coming from Florida you would have a lot of mountain views with a trip like this. Hope this helps!
@@joystone3204Winter Park isn't too bad as far as lift lines go. The main lift at Mary Jane and the 2 lifts near the too can get backed up, but there are a few smaller lifts that I like to stay on because not too many people ride them.
@@joystone3204 Either way that should be a good time to visit. Late enough in the year where you may not see too many people traveling to resorts. Best Wishes!
@@joystone3204 2nd week of March is the resort's busiest week besides Christmas/New Years. It will be crowded but you'll still have a good time. Your longest lift lines will only be 10-15 minutes if you go on a weekday. For a Saturday it's closer to 45 mins...
