I love living vicariously through you while I work on my skiing (my first season despite living in this beautiful province my whole life). Your videos keep me wanting to improve so I’m ready to ride whistler blackcomb next season!
Love that run. When I do it, I have to stop and rest for a few seconds like four or five times. Sitting here stuck at home in Ontario. All our ski hills are closed due to Covid. 👿😖😫😫😫😫😫😫😫🥺😢😢😢😢😢
"Crusty cruising" -- love it! Guess that's what I've been doing for most of my skiing years. :-0 (Actually, in New England & upstate NY, that would have been called a 'powder day!') Even on SO many visits out West (2 week visits!), I got those conditions. Very unlucky, I guess... Nevertheless, my twin, Lynn, & I always had a good time (Interesting how the conditions you skied in two days ago were SO different. But guess that is typical WHEREVER one skis.) Anyway I felt right at home 'crusty cruising' that super long trail with you via computer! (P.S. It's always nice seeing how you 'plant your poles' -- a lost art for upcoming "swivel-turn' generations.)
Awesome video Rick. I thought that sounded like you were skiing in New England for the first half. Did you have to pole before or after the first bridge? That reminded me of a spot at Sunday River right by a big group of condos that people are always getting stuck. Some walk out.
