It is hard geting sponsors on skiing alone when skiing small mountain or inbounds like this. Once these guys progress to big mountain skiing and gnarly lines with serious exposure things might be different. But keeping up the good work with nice edits and progression could lead to that in the end hopefully. Its just chasing the dream and having fun in the mean time! :)
As a skier with 22 years experience, this is just another day on the slopes. You have to be winning comps or doing absolutely insane stuff to get sponsored.
0:36 Nice wheelie! You did well to stay on your feet here. As a novice tree line skier, you certainly open my eyes up to some tight lines. Please keep the videos coming👊🇬🇧
Being an owner of both bent chetler 100/120.. this video gave me a lot more confidence on my future occasional powder skiing on bent chetler 100.. not bad of a float..
Cool videos! But I think it would be good if you edit your videos a little. Increase the brightness, add some contrast, do some color grading (e.g. increase the blue tone).
U should blog ur days up with like voiceovers and camera man. Ur a great skier especially like hour u plan ur lines while skiing. Really flows too. Also could add some music. And name the chair ur skiiing. U will prolly blow up. Keep I up
Sick, brother! Great lines! Very impressive skiing. I like hearing the actual sound. It's cool to hear joy in your voice! Well done! 👍My profile picture? Tap it! Playlist titled Mountain Man? Tap it! Enjoy!
If possible, film with a chest rig, you'll get way more dynamic footage by being able to see more of your arms and a better perspective. Videos are fking crazy nonetheless!!! i wish i was this good at skiing lol
Personally I’m not a big fan of chest mount shots. I don’t really like seeing my knees and arms in the shot. Also hurts when you crash with a chest mount. I may try one day but for now I’m gonna stick with helmet cam. Thanks for watching!
You stole your dads poles didn't you? When I saw the vintage Gipron race pole with the tiny little yellow baskets, those are of an era long before your time.... HAHA
Harmony and Whistler Ridge (VD Trees). Bit of Red Chair Lift Line, and looks like there is also some Ratfink in there. All over the mountain pretty much.
