I'd like to add I didn't touch much on np gain. I do view it as not as important as charge skills and perhaps damage skills, but it can still be very important to level depending on the servant. Anything that helps you get to another NP is always good, but where it should be high priority is on your looper type servants that require it to do their job. Less so on a servant like Drake or Gil where its the least important skill in their kit (though still good to level). Let me know what you guys wanna see for the next guide and thanks for watching! 👍
Hey thanks for the in depth video! I don't know if you already covered it, but if you didn't, i woul like if you could talk about team building, more specifically on what are maybe some overlooked supports (so beside the big casters) and how to implement a supp in a team.
I always tend to upgrade my servant's skills to 6/6/6 then just consider which skill do I need the most then proceed to max em out in order of importance.
I really enjoy this videos, even if I'm entering the veteran range and know most if these things. It's good to have a chill refresher every once in a while.
Things to add: Enemy NP handler is probably most important. It's either your NP or Skill to reduce or ignore enemy AOE np damage. Otherwise you will just wipe your front line. Another is defense skill >> dmg skill due to current game status. Player damage is way above enemy hp value right now. It's not easy to reduce enemy damage unless you have Waver or Mash in all your team build.
Priority for me goes battery as it's the maker of the kit snd better to max to know how much charge you get Evade and inval skills. Better to evade incoming damage and survive a turn with the one less turn of cooldown as it makes a huge difference between survival and sudden lose. Attack or color buff next. Always find use to finishing the battle sooner and while simple it's still effective for its use. Bonus def down below that and crit up as a more niche bur still very effective skill. Support like guts or cleanse after as a good back up in case makes a good use in case of a lose or debuff. Below that anything super type specific like charm or debuffs I rather not raise first since enemies can clear or dodge it so it makes for bad use overtime as the game gives more mental debuff block for enemies. Anything above that are special skills with many uses like Mashu's def up team skill as it's the best. Ereshkigal battery with Mana burst is a super skill. Bb summer second skill alone is so broken in many uses and jarcher kit makes use of all attack buffs and a charge.
I'd dispute the placement of evade and invuln skills that high in most cases. Ideally you want to be able to complete content before it gets to the point of you having to protect from an np so its why I'll prioritize damage unless its specifically a CQ specialist.
@@Khadroth I always like to have the safety in case but most of the time the units I do use with the evade have many extra skills like jarcher having her attack up on it and bb summer having an all in one skill with a battery buster up and evade being the perfect skill. Coarse for my account I always raise the skills even to each other so it's dependent on the unit where the skills go. Lore wise is where I take this factor into account. Most of the time I do: battery attack up inval etc but if I'm not planning the 10 skill I go Protection over attack to have that extra turn if needed. But I'm sure we all agree battery attack and evade come top priority for a majority of cases.
@@ivanbluecool No i wouldn't agree is what I'm saying. Evasion and Invuln in most cases is fine not being prioritized. Even when you need it, you likely only need the one time in a fight unless its a challenge environment. Given that most of those skills do not scale the survival aspect of the skill there's very little benefit (just the cooldown) to doing so. Most of the time when you need more survivability its better to rely on the supports to provide it.
@@Khadroth yeah but sometimes I would want to cycle out my supports for more in the back while keeping the main damage dealer safe. Of course Arash Chen in the future and combat uniform make it easy but it all depends What I'm saying is evade and attack up skills are right up near each other that they flip depending on the unit or situation needed as direct support or Protection is easy for me even with budget teams as a stall team or burst team comes with whatever cq is needed for me. Most times I make a stall team with burst lead to make sure I live and whittle down the opponent before finishing as I got 3 of the big caster supports for different types of Protection
@@Khadroth for mana prisms: probably ideas on more efficient ways to get them / save them, shop suggestions, etc. I think it would be very beneficial given that 1. We’re about to get a really good shop CE in NA (Bella Lisa) and 2. NA is going to be picking up the pace in terms of how many shop CEs there are in a year, going from 2-4, and while not all of them are must haves, some might still need help to keep up For mystic codes: probably suggestions on leveling them faster, especially the more ones. Interested in 10ing all of mine one day lol
My big issue is having way, way too many Servants, and not really knowing who to focus on. That, and not enough QP to really make use of my various mats
I always rust any battery I can, but after that, depends on what else is good...is the Mana Bust is better than the Charisma? Level that.... Fujino's 3rd skill too stronk though...high levels needed for more uptime, though... I WISH I had some sort of support....but even attempting to get Waver during White Day event this year didn't happen....
I really enjoy your informational videos. I've been playing for 3 years and I am still learning stuff. I have completed all storylines now, and i am in a position where i have enough depth in my roster where it isn't essential to level up more servants, instead I should probably work on my current max leveled servants and flesh out their skills, rank-ups, etc. (plus i ran through all my collected ascension mats). My question, and one i haven't really found an in depth guide on it, is how do you decide what ascension mats you know you need to farm and how you decide which nodes to farm? Do you farm the best drop rate nodes for on mat? or do you farm a less efficient drop rate node that has more than one material drop?
How do you submit accounts for review? I've been playing FGO for close to two years and feel stuck, not really getting a feel for the high performance of my teams or versatile 3-turn farming set ups
I do reviews on twitch for a couple days at a time once every couple months. Should be doing another one soonish. I typically mention them both on stream and twitter ahead of time.
Most of my servants have very low skills, some even still in 1/1/1 start. Skill leveling is expensive and You can basically play only around 6 40 AP quests a day and i have to spend most of my time ember farming to level my roster and i run out of material fast.
Do events! The events give you apples, embers, materials, and QP in mass quantities for much less AP than the story. Also, keep in mind that the advice Khadroth is giving is not applicable to new accounts, but to accounts that have been around for a while and thus have more servants and resources.
