I'ma level with you here. I love both you and Jonathan; you guys are amazing. I love Skillet too. They're actually the small bit of Christian I had left while I was going through a depression phase of my life. If not for them, I may not be here right now. So to see both of my favorite RU-vid cover artists perform the first song I heard from the band that gave me new life, that's incredibly meaningful to me. I think Caleb and Jonathan did a really good job on this. I think they made for a really good contrast. Caleb felt very jovial and lighter, almost like he "accepted" things and even enjoyed the release of just screaming. Where as Jonathan was more dark and angry in his vocals. Like some one who was struggling and lashing out because of this other side to him. Very good stuff please keep it up!

I was in 6th grade when I was first told about Skillet. At that time, I was crazy about Black Sabbath and thinking that they were HEAVY. I was a virgin to METAL when hearing Monster for the first time so, I think you could imagine how I had felt hearing it for the first time. I saw them two years ago at Winterjam (Athiest and dragged to church but church youth group fund paid so... FREE CONCERT) and they were better than I had expected

I genuinely /love/ how in contrast your voice is to Johnathan Young's. You two compliment each other so well with your collabs. In this cover, your voice carries more of the emotional break down/fear of losing yourself, when his is the raw rage that's already been unleashed. It's a wonderful piece. Thank you.

You guys saved my life yesterday. I was checking my email one last time before taking a drive I didn't intend to come back from, and when I saw this cover I was compelled to listen. I spent the rest of the day listening to Skillet and other Christian artists I've listened to over the years and, obviously, I carried on. Please never stop doing this, because you mean so much to so many people, including me, and you do so much good with your covers. I would love to hear you guys cover other Skillet songs like Forgiven, My Obsession, It's Not Me It's You, Open Wounds, etc., or maybe Frontline by Pillar? Keep up the good work, and thank you for giving me back my hope, both of you. You guys rock.

I saw Skillet in concert last Saturday, and I have to say, they were bad@$$! I'd argue that they're better live for the most part. The instruments had a more heavy metal sound to them, and they added in some pretty nice solo extensions in some of the songs. The only thing that I didn't find better was the dude singer's voice. It was more high-pitched than I thought that it would be. However, considering that they've been doing this for 22 years, I shouldn't be surprised. As for this cover, it was pretty bad@$$ as well. I'd say keep it up, Caleb.
