My daughter and I were volunteers at Soulfest NH for 2 years... When we were blessed to see Skillet up close..so inspired..motivating the tried and true Skillet Heads..God used their gifts to open the eyes of skeptical mom's and dad's..in the audience..to inspire and bless them. Tweens, Teens and adult kid's on fire for God..gave families a much needed gift of the thrill of God...as I saw it..Love, Laura..Mom and Meemee..Thank You Skillet Family..your rock keeps me going cooking good food for hospital staff and families each day.

Skillet is the proof that you can keep your band's style and still be relevant after years. Nice work guys!

So I'm gonna say (in my interpretation) what each member represents John represents being blind to everything around you and how you are not able to see anything Korey represents suffocating in a blanket of your own nightmares that won't end Jen represents drowning in a pool of human horror such as abuse, anxiety depression, etc And seth (poor guy) represents falling inside your own hell that no one else can see That's how i see each member in this video, idk if it's intentional but hey something interesting.

You've given me a gift. With this video and song, you've proven to me that there are other Christians out there who go through the same pain and trials that I do. You've given me hope, you've given me courage, and you've given me unknown brothers and sisters to pray for. God bless you guys. He has a purpose for all of this.

I'm real glad that I found this band as early as I did. I've been listening to them since I was 5. They got me into music, and they saved my life at 15.

This song reminds me of the Comatose days. Doesn't feel as poppy as some of their newer stuff. Nice to go back a bit to their roots but have it still seem modern.

I like Christian rock we still our human and have emotions and the rock music tells our feelings that we feel from time to time and it releases the hurt in pain inside of us, our flesh is disgusting but the love I have for God oh how I love him.

Skillet introduced me to the very concept of Christian Rock. I didn't think such a thing was possible with the very traditional home I grew up in but when my mom and dad saw them at winter jam, oh man. They fell in love just as I did.

So much talent in one group is unheard of. They just keep producing hit after hit!

I so admire this band’s way of storytelling. So many of their videos are a grapple between light and dark, and this one seemed like a call out by each of them from their own personal darkness so to speak. I’ll admit the latex over John’s eyes was a little creepy 😂 but I’ve appreciated this song since it came out for the fact that it doesn’t just end happy. It remains in the personal struggle waiting for help and I can appreciate that, because we often struggle for a long time before even coming close to finding our answers. I should expect nothing less from the video for a song that so intensely grapples with reality and pain. And I have to say, that purple water design for Jen? Heck. Yes. Thanks for giving me a reason to rock this morning, Skillet!

THIS!!!!!!! Holy crap, but THIS!! This speaks to my soul! The symbolism, the lyrics!! I frequently speak of last year as a dark year for me, where I felt like I was trapped, and drowning in a dark place. Everything people said to me, or even sometimes the way they looked at me, I would percieve it as though it were in a negative way. I felt like nothing I did was good enough. I as a person, was not good enough. Then while listening to a worship song, my eyes were opened and I realized I had been blind (John's being blinded stood out so much to that!) I had a veil over me, twisting everything I saw, and everything I heard. There is NOTHING that can take my value, for it is in Christ and no one else that my value belongs! I see now and will remember this fact! Thank you, Skillet so much, for showing me this message again! I am saved! He saved me! God bless you beautiful wonderful and precious tools of God!
