I'm new to this guy since I saw him surf w/dolphins. This video, as fun as it is, shows me how much incredible balance some of these advanced surfers have. They make it look much easier than it is. I love the girl sitting on the board with the umbrella.

Yes, you have to be very careful and good about keeping your weight distributed perfectly. It really doesn't even touch the concrete until you hit a dry spot. I was surprised at how much damage it really didn't do to the board. I was using an old board that was already pretty beat up though!

It's very likely that it will be damaged if done on concrete. If you try it on grass make sure the grass is healthy with minimal or no litter. Riding over metal and some plastics can definitely ruin the board.
