Bizley did go in once as a pup but so far hes been good and uses his own pool for fun 😂, I know there not everyone's cup of tea but I do like lillies in a pond and mine are extra special, they're from my late moms koi pond so they're a great reminder for me everytime I'm near the pond 👍

I think it's an oase, I've had it years and it's stuck at the bottom of the skimmer box so it's hard to get too without stripping it. It is 10000L but that's not helpful I know. Soz mate

Warm days 3-4 times a day, cooler days less, they're little piggies and im trying to get some growth on, but I'm increasing water checks, and I've added more bio filtration 👍

@@DerbyKoi only got smaller fish and feed them 3 times on a warm day and 2 times other days but I've noticed that they're eating the lille plants just thinking if I give them enough food thanks for your reply

You can try and feed slightly more, if they dont eat it within 5 mins take it out, they will eat your lillies more out of curiosity, keep an eye on your water parameters especially if feeding more than usual

Hi Andy, that's a difficult one to answer mate, so many variables. Is your pond already built so probably a floating in pond skimmer or if building a pond then a wall skimmer would probably be a better option. Again not knowing what the pump will be running I can't suggest a pump size. I will say most of my pumps are vari pumps which give me better control of water vol

@@DerbyKoi im about to change my pond making from a 6000lt to 15000lt and will be putting a wall mounted skimmer and also a window but my understanding of pump is very little but i like the challenges that will come and the learning . Ive wanted a pond for meny year but never had time to get around to it so now i want to go all in coz my fish mean everything to me ( Japanese koi) at the min i have to meny lol but they are only a few months old still but as they get older i will only be have about 15 in the new pond . Tryed and tested from other people really helps just like ur channel i just want what best for the fish and iff i can make my own filters etc that will mean more to me

Sounds like an exciting project 😀. In wall skimmer is the way to go and also I always recommend a bottom drain, as I said my choice of pumps are the vari flow type, with the aid of flow taps you can get the water flow exactly as needed. I have a diy uplow fed from the skimmer which has really helped with clarity, but a shower is also very popular from the skimmer.
