You can hear the emotion in his voice, and that's just utterly beautiful. The fact that he stays so strong is such an inspiration. I love the entire band, but Josh's strength makes me love him so much more.

I was at this concert :D wow when he sang this acoustic, I completely fell in love with it. It is now one of my top three favourite songs of theirs, which really means that it's one of my top three favourite songs lol

no dislikes... this guy is truly inspirational. his voice is so raw and pure and full of emotion. he doesn't think he should be a role model. but i still look up to him. he's taken every negative aspect of his life and turned it into this.. something beautiful and positive.
I know what you mean, I love Marianas Trench and am so proud and happy for Josh that he could overcome such problems and get better. what I don't understand is why you would be complaining about 1 direction Not having those problems in their lives, "having as hard a story as Josh". what is wrong with that? we should be proud of Josh and others like him for overcoming their problems, but we should be happy for those who don't suffer like that, even if we dont like their music, or find them 'hot'.

And this, is why I look up to him. Unlike most celebrities, he doesn't have this "perfect" image that society expects him to have. He may have had a dark past, but now he's just a guy who sings and swears a lot. He gives me hope that one day, everything will turn out okay. He makes me feel like I'm not alone.
Wish he would put out more songs like Say Anything... His voice sounds PERFECT in that. One of the best I have EVER heard in this genre. Especially the parts like 2:52 in this song. Love it :D...
I've been dealing with an ED for almost a year now and i've recently started binging, this song has helped me avoiding it as much as i could because of how much strength there is in his voice. I really wish i could directly thank him for writing this

You sing to so many people and touch their hearts, whether they're going through it or not. You save lifes; you're literally a guardian angel. Everyone asks me. Why do you look up to josh Ramsay. Well for one. He has over come so much! He's very talented and inspirational. Without him and the rest of his band I have no idea where in life I would be.
Skin and Bones is Josh's life. It's his way of talking about the pain and suffering he endured. Not being able to control it, until the point where it almost kills him. To be able to write a song like that and share it with thousands of people is absolutely incredible. To show everyone.. it's just. Indescribable. He manages not to cry through it, but I can't watch the video or listen to the song without crying myself.

the fact that i just this now on tumblr, and this was in toronto and I couldn't go. I decided to watch it...literally in tears now. This song is a fuckin miracle, it can save lives....it helped me and many more people and trenchers.
I love the songs on this album because of how raw and emotional they are. You can tell that they are all very personal songs and that Josh really poured his heart and soul into them. It's also why these songs can be hard to listen to, and I'm sure hard for Josh to sing too.
