It is legally-defined rape.” That works the other way too: Drunk incapacitated men cannot give legal consent to sex. It is legal rape. The dad was raped by his daughter. She forced her vagina onto his organ (and then blackmailed him) .

@mia morales you're right, but fucking your own kid, even if you are drunk is not a normal thing. Most people under the influence still wouldn't even think about doing that kind of thing. Also, the girl was raised in an environment where she was forced to use her sexuality to maintain a career, so whether it was right or not, I choose to cut her some slack. But yeah, I do agree that this was her fault, but the dad is still a shitty person to go along with it and raise her in that environment in the first place.

I know it's just a show, but that Child Services worker sucks at her job. "Father denies it, daughter denies it" isn't grounds for saying the accusation is false. But it is just a show. A pretty good one at that

The onus is on the prosecution to prove guilt beyond a reasonable doubt. The CSW is not implying that the accusation is false. She is implying that legally it's a no win situation.

Search the case of Gabriel, before he died his teacher noticed that he had bruises & called many times Child Services. They didn’t work on time & Gabriel died around the age of 8 years old. That’s is how useless they are & disinterested. The parents tortured him, literally. They found traces of blood & others things after he died in the house.

Or maybe since that event happened beforehand, the shock of it (not the discomfort) wore off. And this realization (which would be shocking regardless of context) happens on-screen, Han was his reaction. I mean, it could be he has a sick double standard. It's a simple motor (movement) tic, tics are uncontrollable movments or sounds. Tics get exasperated by being anxious or any high level emotion. That's why it's worse when you have a anxiety or panic attack.

A lot of people in the comments seem to have completely missed the point. She’s a product of the toxic environment she was forced into. The constant sexualization of men turned her into this manipulative monstrosity. She was stripped of her childhood. In order to survive in that world she had to adapt and “use her talents”, that is her beauty, what men in power gave her credit for. She thought she could use her body to get what she wanted only because older men who should have known better allowed her to. She thinks she’s not smart, just a pretty object to be looked at. This girl’s sense of self was completely destroyed by hyper-sexualization and abuse.

No matter how screwed up the case is, it's wrong that the father allowed her to have that much control over him but then again, he probably wouldn't think she'd do something like that. The daughter is just straight up evil to do something like that to multiple people and is clearly using it as a manipulative blackmailing technique for her own selfish reasons. Regardless of how you look at it, she was a perpetrator if she got him drunk enough (implying anything from being tipsy to straight up blacking out). Also, it doesn't matter that she's 15 if she could do things like that.

This episode has always freaked me out. She was sexually abused, and then she turns into a super model that shouldn’t be doing that job yet, and then she has PTSD, and then a whole lot of other shit happens, and then finally.. the dad gets weirded out that his daughter (that he did) actually is his son. I mean, he should not have even done her, so it’s his fault. It was never the son’s fault.

Did you misread the scene? She actively got her dad drunk with the intention of having him sleep with her just so she could do what she wanted. It wasn’t even about sex, in her eyes it was just a method of making him guilty so she’d have more personal freedom. It’s not victim blaming, she actually initiated the encounter to get what she wanted by making him feel guilty for abuse that she engineered. There’s plenty of blame to go round, but saying she did nothing wrong here is missing the point

It's a weird episode all around. A minor sleeping around (with adults) to advance her career, admitting to getting her own dad drunk to sleep with him.
