Yeah first time I heard a dragon saying it's too cheap, tends to be Touker going "woah, thats expensive" and sure enough later on he brings up the expense lol
Deborah has the reputation for being very immersed in the organic, vegan, natural products industry. She may have felt that Deborah has more connections in that specific area. More so than the others.
I think the passion from Deborah edged it for her, and I don't blame the girl for picking her for that reason... Deborah is the 2nd best dragon you can get in my opinion.
Aww she was brilliant and got herself a great deal, I like how she got the dragons bidding against each other and still came back with more, bl00dy well done, I hope she goes far.
U have no idea how brilliant - straight after the show she signed up some really big companies and decided to go it alone- her company is set for a $13 million annual turnover. The greedy dragons get nothing
@@KarrierBag there are heaps of times where the dragons trash talked companies without investing and theyve gone on to make mega bucks - it's very satisfying hearing about them
@@darrenbudgen966 what website do you go to check profits, net worth (etc)?... just cause looking online myself there are a few sites with different info and one site says it's a private company so no stats are available, also the comments saying what she has made vary... yours is 30 mil, someone else says 13 mil, someone else says 4k (I haven't gone further down but guessing there are other numbers floating about)... so who is correct?
I have a vague memory of the first time someone walked off to the wall to consider things and the dragons thought the person was weird. If that memory is real I would love to see that clip.
Touka knew how cutthroat greedy Debra would be and jumped ship. The lady should have gone with Tej and Peter. They are much more solid than sneaky Debra.
I think sometimes it's best to pick the Dragon who is least greedy, it was right choice to pick Deborah, I would have done the same thing but most of all in this case Emma seems like she is 100% committed so anyone would like to work with you..
Sara was daft not to drop her ask. She brings a lot to the table but to not move from your initial offer at all when she has 3 other dragons interested is cocky
I agree with Sarah & Touker completely. I don't play about my face so I judge luxury and quality according to the price....that's what all adults do unless they're knowledgeable and educated enough about the product. I would rather save for a quality product I trust than pay cheaper for a new unknown one.
Deal fell through and for one reason or another their now insolvent! Alarm bells should have rung when Ella said she's taking a £30,000 salary from a start up that lost £40,000 in it's first year and only projected to make £10,000 profit the year after, perhaps the companies founder had a flawed buisness approach spending money before she's even made it!
Deborah is not involved in the company. Less than 10% of these deals ever go through that are made on Dragon's Den. Btw Deborah is not the person she makes herself out to be, her own mother's business was in trouble and she did not bail her out which caused dozens of weddings to be cancelled last minute and the customers lost their deposits too.
Arrrrgh! Too many skin products, probiotics, craft booze, and wellness drinks/foods. Come on let’s have some proper inventions- like the electric rotary clothesline!
What a silly silly silly girl. Saves 2.5% instead of going with 2 dragons with huge experience in the space and have already brought the same sort of company to millions... Shes definitely looking back and regretting her decision for the rest of her life.
